LOL!
I understood about maybe one quarter of it, but this is damn funny and way confusing all at the same time, gooseman.
So you like to rap, do you? Every girl is sexy or leggy???
Greatest lines ever:
SARAH Harry, I don't want any more flirting! (Blushes) Now what d'you want?
HARRY A latte and a blow job, oh plus a packet of chocolate digestives.
And didn't know the "your mother" jokes had crossed the ocean???? Yikes......... thought that was just a USA thing.

Just 'cos I live in Britian doesn't mean it hasn't reached me yet. Also my next door neighbour's son has a huge poster on his wall with all the different sayins. Yikes, what didn't you understand? Thanks for the review Lesley, do you have any scripts up on the site? I like to rap and in my eyes every girl's a chick. I'll make a rap about you if you want. |

I just read some of it, and can't see how it could be confusing. (For me anyway). What bits were? |

Goose-Man...
This is, by far, the best thing I've ever read on this site, and that includes my own hand-wringing crime melodrama (The brilliant stream-of-conscienceness comedy of Alan Holman notwithstanding). Bravo. I was laughing so hard I blew snot out my nose.
And yes Lesley...British women have bomb-fucking-bastic bodies...and apparently Harry The Goose-Man knows every single one of them...and they all wanna bang him! HELL YES!
Hahaha...Good shit...I hope you do expand on this. Fuck action and horror movies. This is the kind of shit that suits you. Keep it up.
Man...have you ever read Hellblazer (the comic I mean). This reminds me a lot of that, minus the horror and boogedy-boogedy shit that goes with it. Keep it up. You're better than you know. |

Hell! Kessler, I didn't know "life" was so interesting. I was planning to expand this as a series. Yes of course I've read Hellblazer, it's a fine damn comic. Then again I collect comics, which my friends see as daft but oh well. The "not givin' a damn" attitude of John Constantine is excellent. |

They're making that into a movie you know? Constantine is from hellblazer, right? if that is what you are talking about? Keanu Reeves playing him. |

I know...it's an atrocity. I've adapted two Hellblazer stories into screenplays you can read on here. They're posted under Horror I believe. |

Excellent. Too bad I'm gonna have to cancel on my script, which is also about my life. Oh well, I'll keep writing it, just to see how it turns out. |

3 cheers
There were a few errors in the dialogue that I noticed but there outmatched by the overall value of this episode

HEY GOOSE! Just read "A DAY IN MY LIFE" - really really enjoyed it!!! Wow, you really do comedy well, not just that mind, but the action too was very good. I was constantly surprised at every turn. First off, it was refreshing to have it set in London, though I did notice your reference to 'cell phones'<<americanisms lol! The accents + mannerisms were really good, Nickolai's, Mohamed's, Patel's, all of them. The names too were very imaginative, Crasher for example. Loved the way you capture the whole London vibe/scene>> the corner shop, dodge cab driver, alley way and bar etc.. just made it very real. I liked the way the morning was an endless journey of events and mishaps. Really didn't expect all that to happen. My favourite thing about this script, was all the imaginary sequences. LOVED THEM! Just the kind of thing you'd want to see happen, but rarely gets done in a movie. Also, really liked the way you added the music in, made it more movie like and was really able to hear it, if that makes sense.<<I'm not crazy! I thought the ending was funny too, with the voice-overs, very original stuff there Goose, and I found the hospital scene, COUGH, the SEX.... sooooooooooooooo funny I bet every man dreams about waking up to 3 gorgeous nurses, lol! So funny. Usually I think sex isn't a necessity to a movie, in fact its often a cheap ploy to stimulate the viewer in an 'easy' way, but the way you brought it into the mix, was like, way to go Goose! 4 months of nothin, and then he got somthin, lol! Honestly, it was very good and I will check out part 2 soon. Well done!! Andy x |
