Phil, I'd be curious to see what would happen if you shot an email to the folks at http://www.shootrajasthan.com/ ?  They seem to be legit.  I googled them and nothing screamed scam.  The contact info is at: http://www.shootrajasthan.com/contactus.htm  I wonder if they even know if this guy is using them as part of the scam.

Don

I have to agree with Don on this. Wasting their time is great, but the legitimate company needs to be informed so they can warn their contacts.

I've already e-mailed the company in India. I just thought it important to notify everyone here, since the con man is pulling contact information from the boards. Someone may want to forward this info to MoviePoet and any other site that he may be working from.

I refuse to believe that Michael Bay isn't actually interested in my script.

me too... whoops.

What I mean to say is that I can't imagine an Indian production company hiring an attorney from Luxemburg to secure a 1.5 page script.  Production cost for 'Glade' is probably less than the fees I would've had to pay to get the paperwork.

Pardon the rule-breaking, but Blakkwolfe, LOL!

I couldn't stop laughing for awhile on that one. Nice catch with the Mr. Sanders. Well done.

Ah, that's awesome.

(See? That's how you LOL within the rules.)

Wow. Itís amazing how blatant this guy is with his scam. Not only does he basically just come right out and tell you heís going to rip you off but then he responds with this:

Quoted from Martin Sanders, Blatant Scam Artist
Please I will be out of the country by tommorow,so if you are send the payment of the MOU and my sourcing fees, plus the brokering fee,let me know so that I can forward you with details of where I will be traveling to.

So now heís basically just telling you outright that heís going to disappear with your money as soon as he gets it. Incredible.

I'm curious what the production company in India's response is.

With the line "Subject: Re:The Black Diamon Script" in every one of these, I almost feel special that mine was apparently the first and he hasn't even changed that line for the rest of them

Hollowood - Drama/comedy series, 2 episodes posted

Black Diamond - 124 page comedy/horror

$60,000 for a two-pager...my my. This guy is amazing! Can he guarentee a worldwide release and the casting of Morgan Freeman as 'Narrator', too?

Honestly. If the guy's trying to rip you off to the tune of almost 2 grand he might make the effort to actually OPEN the script he's basing his scam on...

Weak, Mr. Sanders. Weak.

Guess who's back? Back again?

Yes, you'd think that he'd at least have the sense to pick on a feature script rather than a short, wouldn't you.

But I wonder how many naive newbies he has taken in? This may seem like a joke to us, because we can see straight through this sort of nonsense, but I bet there are a few wide eyed would be writers who have parted with money and then been broken hearted to find out it was all a scam and their dreams have been shattered.

By the way, I wonder what the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg would think of this use of their Embassy address?
