The second Impact X Netflix prompt appeared today, "Lifestyle movies with a competition element"

https://www.imagine-impact.com/netflix

Quoted Text
This prompt is seeking movies set in fresh, interesting lifestyles or subcultures with stories that organically incorporate or crescendo in a competition of some kind. We're looking for projects like 8 Mile, Blue Crush, Step Up, and Pitch Perfect.

I could try to pitch something about the tenure process, but it'd be career-ending for my day job

Who am I? A man with a hundred stories.. You want to read one?

I live in the most beautiful country of South Africa. I'm a self employed electronics security technician. I'm four years into script writing ~ trying to make it in this ever competitiveindustry.

I知 thinking if A Game of Supers fits under this one. There痴 a game in mine.., somewhere within the script.

Thanks, Kham. I thought so, too, but not quite.

First, the contest isn't the "crescendo" of the story. In fact, I'm trying to find ways to shorten how much screen time is spent there.

Second, and far more important, it's not about an "interesting lifestyle or subculture" as defined by politically-correct Hollywood.

My wife and I did pitch Princess for the family-friendly-adventure one.

I agree, you're practically giving the script away for exposure. I would only ever pitch something to this thing if it was (a) collecting dust in a drawer or (b) had hooks for a sequel.
