Now that those of us who care to know about eachother
know about eachother, let's show pictures!

(Headshots/mugshots, etc...)

I'll post a picture -- or a link to a picture -- in a
few days.  Until then: this is how I imagine some that
some of us look:

DON:  Perhaps bald -- in a Picard way, not a Costanza way.
No mustache.  Not fat at all.  No glasses.  Well-dressed.
LESLEY:  Beautiful young woman.  Skinny.  Mid-length hair.
Espresso-addict.  Wise beyond her years.  Business attire.
SCOTT:  Tall.  His sports car compensates for his small
cell phone.
GOOSE: A walking, talking goose.
WESLEY:  Male.
MYSELF:  Almost human.

...I'd guess more details about these, and other people,
but first let's all try to either get pictures up, or
links to pictures up, or let's take guesses about we
all look like, and our habits, and whatnot...for fun.
(I count two typoes in this message -- but since it's not a script, I don't care to edit.)

Alan:

Three...

eachother - each other
eachother - each other
mugshots - mug shots
typoes - typos

re:
"DON: Perhaps bald -- in a Picard way, not a Costanza way." - nope.
"No mustache."  - correct
"Not fat at all." - I wish. Spare Tire
"No glasses." - nope.  Though, the glasses are antique (got them very cheap).
"Well-dressed." - maybe - khaki pants (with cuffs) and oxford shirts all the time.  I work in them, I do lawn work in them, I camp in them.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

Why don't we all post pictures of ourselves then?
This is how I picture some of the dudes on this board then:
Alan Holman: A small dark-haired Joker.
Wesley: A bald, dimpled guy in his thirties.
Lesley: An attractive brunette.
Goose: Me!
Bigfatsandwich: A greasy haired guy wearing a
sandwich board.

Me?  A sports car?  heh...I drive a saturn, work a crappy job with no benefits and carry a very out of date cell phone...that I just got.  I assure you that the phallic reference didn't go over my head, Alan, you dry Canadian Madman.
I have no idea how to post a pic on here...but I will.  I used to have a pic on the 209FILMS site, but we all know about that internet abortion.

And yeah, Don does look like Harry Potter! Heh, cool.

I'm tall-ish (6 foot)...but my ego makes me appear much taller...hahaha.

I'm pretty happy with everyone's true identities.  I was called a short, black-haired joker, and a dry Canadian (not to be mistaken with Canada Dry Ginger Ale); anyhoo, an outdated picture of my face is at http://members.shaw.ca/fhs/AlanHolman.htm -- and if that link doesn't work, go to http://members.shaw.ca/fhs/AlanHolman.htm   -- I keep forgetting the current address, but I know that one of those is correct.  At that address, you'll see some of my writings, and an outdated picture of my face which was taken less than a year ago, when my face was a bit chubbier than it is currently.

After having a good laugh at the picture of you (compared to what I
thought you looked like) I'll post a pic of myself, so everyone knows my
real good looks.  Unlike "the walking talking goose".

Not in a million years would I ever have expected Scott to look like that.
I thought a tall, wiry Red-haired guy. You look better than I thought. Well
gimme a couple of hours and I'll send y'all a pic of me. Get some real
laughter.

So intimidated about what you all think I might look like, so won't post picture.  Kudos to those brave enough to post.   I like, guys.  I like.

Alan, pretty dead on though!  Not skinny (as makes me sound sickly) but slender, pretty proud of my toned arms and legs - think they're my best characteristics, but could work a bit on my mid-section:  not fat by any means, but prefer flatter (as trying to attain supermodel-like characteristics so am considered blazingly hot before overseas trip next summer...maybe).  Am on current quest to lose and keep off at least 15 pounds that keep rollercoastering off and on.  I was so close last summer and then.....humph.

Espresso addict?  Hehe, maybe if I could afford it everyday like I used to.... Right now, on hot chocolate kick.

Um, what's your definition of beautiful?  And yes, I would say wise beyond my years because I've been through a lot and seen a lot.

And yeah, I love business attire.  I love looking important.

Great description.

C'monnnnnnnnnn Lesley....If Alan and I can stick our necks out (or faces as the case may be), you can risk it.

Beauty isn't necessarily "supermodel" looks.  In fact, most of the women I, personally, find beautiful AREN'T flashy with good looks.  I'm sure you're hotter than you give yourself credit for.

A few extra pounds is the price we pay for sitting on our asses writing. I'm 265 myself, and could use to lose the weight, but actually I don't care.
Talent is beautiful.  Looks fade.

Thank you, Don, for getting it posted.
Lesley and goose, I guess I look this way cos' I'm still pretty much a kid. I love to play with the grandchildren. They're what keep me young. When there is a family gathering, I'm off playing hide and seek or whatever with them while everyone else is sitting at a table.
I wanna see your pictures,

Someone said I was bald and in my thirties, I hope they didn't mean me

I am only 19 and I do have a stomach that all beer drinkers want and most woman dont want, I know this for a fact not that I'm an alcoholic but the woman part

I will never show a single sole other than the 1 person who has seen it my picture ever, mental pictures work for me

Oh and I will be bald soon but that's because i'm experimeneting with this new electric head shaver thing that has different sizes of blades but i think it's safe to go O naturale when it comes to having or not having hair, my head is big enough

Yeah, Ross, are you a war reenactor?  Or really in the military?  I have a friend who plays war games.  What is it called again?  Not really paintballing...oh yeah, Air Soft.

I'd probably always get shot, though.  But guns are kinda cool.

I'm in the process of forming a spit-and-three-chords punk band called UNIFORM.  When I say "punk" I DO NOT mean Blink 182, The Offspring or any of that shit.

I mean The Misfits, The Ramones, Anti-Flag, Stiff Little Fingers-kinda-shit.

I played metal as a teenager (Speed and Thrash stuff mostly) inspired by bands like Slayer, (old) Metallica, Kreator, Sepultura, etc.

This'll be first musical venture in about 10 years.

good luck with the music venture Kessler

since you seem to be heading for an old punk vibe there won't be much room for any Avril Lavigne numbers in your sets.  such a shame

Avril Levigne's got a song -- I forget what it's called -- it starts "sometimes I get so weird, I laugh myself to sleep" -- or at least, I think that's the first line.  Whatever that song's called, I've only heard it a couple trillian times, and I think it'd make a great theme song for BANANA CHAN.  If not that song, other possible themes for my virtual series are DROPS OF JUPITER by Train, INTUITION by Jewel, WONDERWALL by Oasis, or the BANANA CHAN THEME by Jayde.

My song of the moment is "Some day" by Nickelback, I keep singing it and recieved THREE slaps for it!

nice set list, Es...

Arghhhhhhhh...what's with the Avril fans up in here?

I only just started this band...we've been jamming covers to tighten up (the best thing we've done so far is "Waiting for the Turning Point" by Superjoint Ritual).

I'd love to hear the Fits covers.  I caugh the Newfits in concert about...3 years ago, and despite the lack of Danzig...they were a lot of fun to see.

I'm currently hooked on this new-ish sound that's coming down: Thrice, Funeral For a Friend, Coheed&Cambria, Zeke, Etc.
And of course... Maiden!

Up The Irons!

How the hell did we wind up like this
Why weren't we able
To see the signs that we missed
And try to turn the tables

I wish you'd unclench your fists
And unpack your suitcase
Lately there's been too much of this
Dont think its too late

Nothin's wrong
just as long as
you know that someday I will

Someday, somehow
gonna make it allright but not right now
I know you're wondering when
(You're the only one who knows that)
Someday, somehow
gonna make it allright but not right now
I know you're wondering when

Well i hoped that since we're here anyway
We could end up saying
Things we've always needed to say
So we could end up stringing
Now the story's played out like this
Just like a paperback novel
Lets rewrite an ending that fits
Instead of a hollywood horror

Nothin's wrong
just as long as
you know that someday I will

Someday, somehow
gonna make it allright but not right now
I know you're wondering when
(You're the only one who knows that)

Nickleback and Avril Lavigne straight outta Canada right into America and it's always the canadians that put down there artist for another countries band, weird how that goes

I mean yeah here in Canada Avril, Nickleback and the other Canadian crapfest Lillix get overplayed with a vengeance same with britney and christina

What's up with britney against the music? What did it do to her? was it cause she was outed as a .... you can finish that off yourself or maybe because it made her go on tv, no that was her trying to get herself on tv to make more money

How can she be against the music when its what's got her to the big dance money money money money

If she loved music so much she'd retire and spare us of the pain that is her supperimposed voice and lip syncing antics if thats how you spell it or not

If they used a machine even I could sound good and be a recording artist although i can't lip sync or stand in fornt of people

Oh back to my original point I'd ratehr listen to Rammstein than lillix, nickleback and that avril chick with the big tooth that she needs fixed like britney's chest was

And to answer the million dollar question Nickleback does in fact suck but hey i'll admit they have one catchy tune so yeah there not as bad as some out there but they dont exactly kick in as anything other than Chad the poodle, my brother likes them though

Im into bands like Black Dahlia Murder, Widow, Children of Bodom, Shadows Fall, mostly metal stuff.  Super Joint Ritual is pretty good....I saw Down about a year and a half ago...anselmo was wasted..haha....I saw Danzig about 2 years ago...fuckin kicked ass as always!

download this Rolling Stones cover "Paint It Black" - Black Dahlia Murder....its awesome...(its death metal but its cool, check it out, one of the best covers of a song...)

Coheed and Cambria have a cover of the Trooper if you havent heard that....

I just ignore the people who like avril lavign...these people have no clue about music..

Man...music that gets hyped on tv/radio is generally crap.  Honestly.  Look deeper...check out AMP Magazine or look into your local scene.  You might get turned onto something new and very cool...

Music is subjective.  Everyone has personal reasons for liking their favourite music.  If you like a song solely because it's in the top forty, you know nothing about music.  However, someone on this board said that people who like Avril Lavigne know nothing about music.  I have my own reasons for liking her music.  I also enjoy Pink Floyd, Oasis, Jewel, Linkin Park, and other artists whose songs talk to me, or to my imagination.  Marilyn Manson is a HUGE influence; the man is brilliant.  I also like obscure bands you've never heard of.  Having played trombone in a band for six years of my life, I know more than a thing or two about music.  Just because I like Avril Lavigne does not mean that I know nothing about music, and the person who suggested that I know nothing about music should be placed in a silent room with no sounds for two years; after that time, Avril Legigne's album LET GO should be piped into that room, and I assure you it will be appreciated.

I was given LET GO for free by a friend, I mean Meatloaf and Bruce Springsteen are my favourite solo artists. Who can diss them?

having not been through this thread in awhile, i gotta agree there is too much avril pumping up in here as kessler said.  if i gotta hear "i'm with you" one more time i'm tearing the girl's hair out strand by frickin' strand...

but all that other metal stuff is way too harsh for me.  think i'm more of an indie girl.   like to chill as well.  and if it's got a good beat, even better.

but hey if it hasn't been played nine million times, i'll give it a listen.

Avril Lavign is terrible.  Marilyn Manson is not brilliant in any shape or form, he doesnt even play an instrument.  Nickleback is complete garbage.  Most of what I hear from Canada is completely horrible.  Nicklecrap, Avril LaSuck, Sum41, Bryan Adams, Bare Naked Homos, Simple Plan.....thanks a lot Canada...keep the music, Id rather take the mad cow disease...this seems like a good place to point out how much I hate Rush too.  I dont care if Neil Purt is the best drummer in the world I hate rush.  People who listen to mainstream music have no clue.  You think you do, and thats ok, but to people who write music and live in their scene and undergrounds think you are a joke.  Just know that.

The only one of the list I recognize is Rush and Bryan Adams.  I'd listen to their albums, but I don't have a record player anymore.  Isn't Rush like 20 years ago?  I didn't know that Niel Purt was/is the best drummer in the world.  OMG!  Rush is touring in 2004!  Eskay, thanks for letting me know that Rush is still alive.

Anywhoo... What about Ashley MacIsacc or the Sainted Stan Rogers

Avril, hmm.   Manson scares me.

P.S. All this music discussion needs a place, so let us take the music dicussion to HERE.  Oh, yeah.  EsKayEye is the moderator.

P.S.S. Oh, and I've moved this board to the General Boards.  Shaking things up a bit.  Keep you all off balance.

Well I might as well post a pic of me. Here's my claim to fame (if the link works!). Here's a picture of Jackie Chan and me back in late 90's.

I'm from Australia and apparantly Scott rules my country!

Seriously fotonut, you look like you were working on set.  Did you grip or do electrical or something back in the day?  Also where in Australia are you?  I knew a guy from Kalgoorlie who moved to Perth for university but I really don't know the geography so I have no idea how far from each other those two places are.

P.S. Can you also explain your theories on kangaroo burgers and vegemite?  I fail to get the appeal?

Aussie, aussie, aussie...

Vegemite is probably the most disgusting thing I've ever had.  I'm sorry, I just can't do it.  But then I hear Aussies don't get American PB & J sandwiches?

LAMO @ Jackie cut out! I look more like a damn cut out!

I was fortunate to have a friend who was an extra "thug" in that Jackie flick! When I met him I kept thinking... damn that's a big head! But he was really polite and nice enough to pose with me.

Lesley - I'm from the east coast in Sydney, Perth is on the west coast.

Last year where I work,  close to August, George Lucas walked in with an entourage of at least ten people. I was too chicken to ask for a photo as he had a BIG dude walking close by. For all I know he was family but I didn't want to look like a dick if he said no.

I'm gonna say an average looking 16 year old. Brown hair, maybe green eyes? Average height and build? (I can't picture people in my head unless they're being blown up or running away from zombies)

And by the way, Goose, when do we get to see you? I mean, the least you could do is put a picture of a goose up.

i don't do pictures well either.  my humongous nose and terrible side profile make for un-elegant displays of facial catastrophe.

I don't even have a picture of myself to post.  Well...I could find one I guess.

This is as good as it's gonna get:

http://community.netidea.com/sleakey/Pictures/gotsomething.JPG

I find this picture fairly humorous.  That's me on the left.  I'm sure there's a long story to explain the oddity of this picture...but I forget it.

Wow I just found this page.  Andrew, you look like your 12 (no offense... if you take any offense at that at all).  Also, how come certain pictures are coming up as a small red X (R.E. Freak's and Marla-Singer's to be exact)?

Finally, as for me, I do not own a digital camera, so, you will not be seeing me anytime soon.  As for a description, I've been told I look like a younger version of the cartoon Bruce Wayne from the early 90's "Batman: The Animated Series" (most likely because of my Bruce Campbell-esque chin).

Here's a mental pic for ya --

What no one can own --- No one can take ---
When problems persist --- No problems exsist ---
Someone with no one to hold --- Is a fool for letting that someone go ---

I'd give you a pic, but then everyone would really hate me ---> 100% guarantee I'm nothing like anyone here would even think me to be... At all... What so ever...  But I'd like to see what some would think me to look and be like

BALTIS~

Good Thoughts~

The small red x means the picture doesn't exist any more online or whereever they linked it from

I think if people know what you really look like you lose something, especially in an online environment. I'm just saying that because nobody ever online will see what I look like unless it's just my eyeball which I will take a picture of if you want to see it

RE there is a web site where you can host any pictue (Minus porn) for free forever at no cost or sign up.

If you want to url I'll look through my favorites and find it for you or anyone who would want something like that, it helps a lot if you don't want to waste space on a web site with lots of pictures. host them offsite and frees up more space for the web site building and pages

I'd put it up now but my favorites got changed and now instead of being at the top it's somewhere in a list of hundreds of web sites

You know, it's odd. I have yet to post a picture of myself here or reveal my name, yet on another site I not only post under my real name, but I have also posted quite a few pictures of myself. I suppose here I want to maintain an air of mystery about me.

And no one has managed to guess my name yet.

Johnny Cash? Did he even die last year? Johnny Carson... hmmm.

I forget dates though, I'm named after a female. My parents wanted a girl and they wanted to call me Stephanie or Sam so you can't have a dumber name than I do. Luckily I've resorted to using my middle name Wesley or I could use Allan but Wesley makes me sound gangster and people enjoy that name much more. Steven is like the lighthearted sensitive gay man name and Wesley is like the cool alterego name you'd want.

I'd love to change my name legally to Johnny Lightning or Wesley Bishop, but I can't change my name legally.

R.E. posted that teaser picture of himself a few pages ago, so I right clicked on the pic, went to properties, and found out the pics place of orgin, which happened to be that site he mentioned he had posted his name on before.

So from then it was simple to find his name.

I hope he isn't mad.

Could be another psuedonym, you know
Ziggy sounds so much beter then my actual name, so I'll probably continue to post scripts under that you know.

Could be, I did feel bad about ending the quessing game so quickly.  Maybe we should try to come up with the other user names Don uses on this board, (you know, before I get kicked off for suguesting this, LOL.)

It looks like you're either drinking or singing into a microphone in that picture.

The image is squashed.  Before you upload, you really need to make sure the image is square.

Are you Vanilla Ice? That guy is a god to midgets and people who like stupid dance music. Everyone else thinks he's a bum that can't rap or sing or act. He's me without the cool straight normal man hair, neither of us have any talent or ambition.

I actually can't sing worth shit. If I tried to rap I'm sure some guy would kick my ass. haha.

Though that lyric does strike me as funny, almost as bad as 99% of all Limp Bizkit's.

Fred Durst went from a well liked band, to a bad band to a washed up home video porn star.

Don't you love steady career downfalls.

That's cool.

I'm probably going to post some more pics that I took and photoshoped, you know later on.

Though I have to scan and upload them and that's going to be a pain.

You have to upload the picture online. Where you AE Jeans pic is, you have to upload the link there and then I could upload it onto here, alright.

You're welcome!! ABT - You can make your avatar less squishy looking by reducing the size of the photo and changing the proportions on ADOBE for a better overall look, just a tip!!

Andrew, you and your girlfriend look really great together too by the way!!
