One cool dude?

I was 8.5 months pregnant at the time! We shot some pool with some people then when we sat down at the bar, one of them naked ladies walked up to me on the bar counter and asked me if I recognized her.

I looked up right into her..., then I told her I did not recognize her face.

We left after that!

That could quite possbly be the funniest thing I have ever heard in my life.  I can go to sleep now, haha.

Well, first of all, Detroit has our lovely Cindy there  , Second of all, I'm up for trying anything/visiting anywhere once... Thirdly, it was featured in one line of the Goonies...... albeit about having "the highest murder rate in the capital, but it's also where Motown started" too. So in some sense it's a movie related location that shall be visited someday, lol!!

I think every city, country etc... has it's good and bad points/people. You just have to be careful where-ever you go. I've never been to New Jersey, but seeing as I've got tons of places in America left to visit yet, not that I ever could see everything, I might just be in your neck of the woods one day.

Speaking of stalking, where's Higgs?...... Higgs, no love for Dr.Jones anymore?????????????????? What gives?!!!!!!!! LOL

San Franciso is a fantastic city. I didn't have a great experience the first time there, but the second time blew my mind. It really is such a fascinating place, filled with a multitude of interesting people, from all walks of life.

Las Vegas ROCKS. Period. Plus I hugged a pillar inside the Sahara Casino, just to feel that little bit closer to Dean Martin, since they blew up the Sands Casino in '96. Bastards.

Never been to the south, but would love to. Wait, I went to Tenessee, isn't that the South? Or is it more Missisippi, New Orleans etc? I'd love to check out all those places, including New England too, in autumn time.

Window's open, waiting for the SSF to make all my dreams come true   What does one have to do to earn some Don points then eh?

A x

PS - Cindy, I know we'd have a wicked time

...all we got is Cafe' Risque.

Hey, you can actually get a great breakfast there!  (Or so I've heard.... )

It's owned by the same guy that used to own Skeeter's ("Home of the Big Biscuit").

But I always worry about those poor girls that have to fry bacon topless....ouch!

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

Y'know, Mike is also a resident of Chicago, and he is so much more fun to stalk.  He's always leaving these little coloring books and other wonderfully fun things for his stalkers to play with.

Guy,
Have you been to Detroit? Mugged, car jacked, and arrested by the same person? LOL Yeah, probably so. You should stay right on the main streets there and then you won't have any trouble.

I live about 30 miles outside Detroit.

There are a lot of pretty neat things here in Michigan; right around the area.

We have the casinos (MGM Grand, and Greek Town are the best), horse racing, the infamous City Club, Fox Theater, State Theater, The Opera House, the free concerts downtown, Detroit Institute of Arts, Pharoah's Club.
Late summer we have The Ren Fest in Holly with jousting, Dead Bob, the tree man. There is also a bunch of festivals going on from spring through fall.
We also have Frankenmouth were it's Christmas all year round, and DTE aka Pine Knob (concerts).
We have plenty of lakes if you want to go swimming or boating. The Detroit Zoo...
And Detroit has one of the best art colleges in the country, The College For Creative Studies.

Michigan is also beautiful in the fall. People come from all around to see our autumn in bloom.
You just have to know where to go, and be aware of things around you.

I've heard the same thing about that place

If you feel like something real good and family friendly though, get off the same exit as Cafe' R. go east about 1/2 mi, go south on 441 1/2 mi and in the se corner of that intersection is Blue Highway. Odd place that serves gourmet pizza and sandwiches.

If you go there and see a mean looking woman in breeches and tall boots, don't be afraid to say hi, cos it's probably me. I just look mean, but I'm quite friendly.

PS. When football season starts up again I'll send you a Seminole joke my husband came up with some years ago. It's a good one!

Yeah I've been to Detroit twice, Cindy.  Once for my 18th birthday en route to Windsor, CAN and this past year for the Super Bowl.  Both times the city just was just bad.  For the Super Bowl I remember I was at my hotel and there were like 4 fights outside and inside of it within an hour.

Michigan though is an awesome state.  I agree with you there.  I had a track meet in Ann Arbor and that place is pretty cool.  Very fun town.  I didn't get to go anywhere else in the MI though, but it sounds like a trip.

Haha that's fair.  Cindy is an awesome girl, no hate is going her way.

That's a good question regarding Tennessee being the "south".  The generic south according to Americans is like a backwards L.  Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, possibly Virginia.  Then you got the East Coast which is Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and maybe Conncecticut but many consider Conn a New England state.  New England is basically all the NE states.  Then the Midwest is Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas, Kentucky (great state by the way), Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma.  Moutain States are basically Colorado and Utah.  Then the Southwest is Arizona and New Mexico.  And The West Coast is Cali.  And Northwest is Washington, and Oregon.

If I forgot a state they basically don't have a section.  Like Pennsylvania and North Dakota.  Blah.  The only thing that pisses me off about this country is they refer to people that live in the states of Hawaii and Alaska as Hawaiians and Alaskans.  I mean I guess it could have some ethinic background to it, but they are Americans!  Some people here consider them foreign places!

I'm sorry, I had to go to my sister's elementary school today and the teach asked them to name a country in North America and about five kids said Alaska and Hawaii.  AHHHHH!

Haha but back to conversation at hand.  I consider Tennessee a southern state but some that live there might not.  Oh well they are south of me so that's all that matters.

Four fights? Wow! The cops did a thourough sweep of the area before hand. They wanted the city to look good to everyone who was coming there from out of town.
They even found places for the homeless to be for that week.
I love Ann Arbor.

Yeah one was great though because a Penthouse Pet punched this dude that kept trying to hit on her.  It was great.  She punched the hell out him.

Anyone seen scary movie four?  One of the good jokes was on detroit.  It is spoofing "War of the worlds", thje part where the plane crashes and the media ppl show tom cruise whats going on.  Anyway, in scary movie, she says this: "Look, this is detroit!"  And its a mess with burning buildings and people screaming, then she says: "and this is detroit after the alien attacks"  and its the same thing with a tripod in it.

Yeah, Detroit can be a scary place. It's a tough place. A place where there have been a lot of hard knocks, but you can have a good time there if you don't flash cash or jewelery.
My oldest daughter worked at the art college as a model, and she never had any problems.
