Haha.  That is the funniest post ever Phil.

The only script I remember Van Damme ever getting writing credit for was The Quest and I think some dude sued him because he didn't even write it.

And I'd watch that tone, new guy.  This is a writing site, we base most movies off of their writers/directors.  Your question was very vague.

Wrong.  He has co-written two scripts, (The Order, Lionheart) and is currently (perhaps) writing and directing Kumite, a project of which the future is questionable.

I did a little searching but was unable to find scripts or transcripts for The Order and Lionheart in any of the usual places.

I knew what he meant, Guy.  I never knew Van Damme wrote anything, though.

A piece of advice to Greekpimp, though:  If you are even halfway serious about writing, you've got to read better scripts than anything that Damme puts out.

what I love about vandamme's movies is that they always explain his shitty accent!

in every movie! it's hilarious! always a small quote of dialog saying : "He grew up in France", or "Deveraux, that's a french name", or "he is from quebec",... sometimes they are actually funny!

Still, I'm actually doubtfull about his writting skill, at least in english...

"I bet he just puts the word "aware" in every sentence of dialog!" (inside joke for the french people)

Scripts :
- Hot Road (short)
- The Mirror (short)
- Listen Up (short)
- Dawn (short)
- One Day (short)
- Steal (short)

Hi Pedro,

do you know this one?

"Selon les statistiques, il y a une personne sur cinq qui est déséquilibrée. S'il y a 4 personnes autour de toi et qu'elles te semblent normales, c'est pas bon."

(according statistics, one man out of five is a loony. If there are four people around you and they seem normal to you, you've got a problem)

great one michel!

there are even sites about all the comments Vandamme ever said! And there are really funny ones!
http://www4.tz-technologie.com/index.php3

gonna translate a few of his best quotes ever for you guys :

"I'm fascinated by air. If you would take away air from the sky, all the birds would fall on the ground.... And the airplanes too... At the same time you can not touch air... it exists and doesn't exists... It feeds men even if he's not hungry.. It's magical... The air is pretty and at the same time you cannot see it, it's soft and you cannot touch it.. Air is a little like my brain.."

"You don't need a flash to take a picture of a rabbit because he already has red eyes".

"Adam and Eva, I don't believe in it anymore, you know, coz I'm not an idiot: the apple, that can't be bad because it's full of pectine!"

etc..etc... the best unfortunatly are a mengling of french and english... so I cnan't translate them.
