As the name would imply, baby... it's just that. Very gory. Very gruesome. Very shocking. Very much... the man I admire most in the world of horror "Fulci aside" MR. H.G. Lewis. MR. Hershel Gordon Lewis, that is.

I wish the mass of folks who are into horror would really take the time to do some background checking on this man and his awe inspiring movie career. He is "The Godfather Of Gore" no doubt about it... not only cause he did it better than anyone, but he created it.

I don't think people really understand if it wasn't for this man and Mr. Freedman, we wouldn't have seen half these tricks today. Everyone has took from H.G. Lewis and has stolen his idea's for years and years... hell, no, decades and decades.

Without H.G. Texas would have no massacre. Without H.G. Craven would have no career, believe that. Watch "The Hills Have Eyes" and then go watch "Moonshine Mountain People" and tell me Craven wasn't hung up on Mr. Lewis... just a little bit.

All of that is moot right now, though, as it was a little history lesson for those who don't know the incredible man's movie I'm about to review.

The Gore Gore Girls: 1972 -- 2 years before TCM ever thought of seeing release... this movie was paving the way for ultimate gore and horror, just like his 1963 Blood Feast, 2000 maniacs and Color me blood red before it... Among many others in the early-mid-late 60's
--------------------

This movie is about a brutal murder. A "VERY" brutal murder. One that does the most absurd, shocking and violent things ever put on film to women... More important... stripper women.

A jurnalist on the trail of the murders enlist the help of a quick tongued, touchy P.I. who for 25grand will not only solve the murder but imply himself in them aswell as her.

The acting is for the budget Mr. Lewis always worked for... It passed and the dialogue was brilliant if you listen to it.

The movie is a comedy at times  but then... then it can freak you out cause it is really the most raw, viseral movie out there... It's gore goes very far beyond that of anything on the market in terms of taste.

You want killings and innovative ways for people to die? H.G. Lewis is the man to thank for that. He was responsible for so many incredible deaths in movies and this movie proves no different.

A meat tenderizor to the ass.
A Woman being melted and drowned in a vat of French fry Grease.
A mirror face bashing.
A skull gouging and brain mushing.
An Iron to the face.
A car over the top of a head.
A woman's nipples being cut off and then the killer drinking the milk out of them. << yes it goes there too

The movie has no limits in the lengths it will go to. It is there to shock you and it does just that but at the same time there is an incredible plot here. A murder mystery. A who done it and a very clever one at that... so clever when I 1st saw the movie back when I was a kid dismissed all of that and just focused on the gore... Now I've seen the movie countless times as it's been in my dvd collection and chs collection for sometime. I still find it impossible to peg the killer... 1st time through. It's that well crafted.

Anyways... It's a good movie. It's funny at times. It's disturbing all the others... It's H.G. Lewis and I love the man and I love all of his movies and he invented the horror genre as we know it. I truly believe this and anyone who doesn't know this man should rush out and buy all of his movies cause they're one of a kind.

4 out of 5 -- A very off beat flick. It's got it's dry spots but quick dialogue helps it along. The gore is extreme and for the time ... nothing can match it. His blood to this day is still the best in the biz and his movies are to be seen to be believed.

Please check it out.

I thought this thread was about Al Gore's daughters.

I'm not a gore hound, but it doesn't scare me off either. I'll probably give this a look someday.

LOL, no nothing at all to do with them trolops

It is a very good movie, better than most anyone would give it credit for being and most will just say "Oh, it's low budget" "Oh, it's just too over the top and doesn't take its self serious"

But you get to the bare bones facts about this thing and you will see some fantastic stuff... I love Lewis. His movies are time machines of sorts. They really take you back to that time and I never feel that way in any other movie really... but his movies have that effect on me.

I also don't know what the Jason X thing ment??? All horror movies only wish about being as good original as an H.G. Lewis flick... trust me on that one. You won't find any horror movie made before his stuff that broke his ground... and the only movie I can think of "the only one" would be "The Undertaker and his pal's" but that was made shortly after 2000 maniacs and Lewis had already been in the business of gore for sometime before even filming it.

Check out his stuff, Pete... you'll love it.

ooooohhhhooooooooooooooooo... I see. I see. I'm very sorry then.  Yeah, if that's the case then no, you probably wouldn't be able to watch this one. This one is out there... really, really, really out there.

I believe that the breast milk scene is the most over the top thing I've ever seen in any movie. BAR none!
