I'm not a fan of Russel Crowe (phone-thrower) but s***, he makes some damn good movies. This is about a man called James Braddock who is a boxer in the 1930's. The Depression hits and him and his  family live in near poverty. After his failure in his last boxing match, he no longer has a way to make money for his family. But his manager gives him a second chance, and he becomes one of the best boxers America has ever seen!
SPOLIERS
This film is undescrbable in ways of greatness. The acting is very good, the directing, by Ron Howard("Fonzie"), os great, and it is very touching film. Although this fhasd got Russel Crowe in it, he's a good actor even if he isn't so good out of the film. So watch this film, even though it goes for nearly three ghours, you won't notice, because this movie doesn't have a dull moment.
