A mized reaction from me. First of all, I had the misfortune of seeing this in 3D. I blame my local theatre, who for reasons unknown load up the screens with more 3D junk than 2S. Ticks me off sometimes. Really does.

And Godzilla in 3D is outright awful. Wearing those glasses has 50 percent of the picture  in near pitch black where you can't see a darned thing.
The human characters stood around and were great at standing around. I liked the collateral damage done by Godzilla and the mutos.

Finally got round to seeing this.

Had the strange feeling of being almost sorry for the film. Felt like they tried their best and threw everything they had at it...but nothing could save it from being utterly poor.

Once Cranston's character was dead the film was a waste of time. The main character was the worst I've seen since Inception. Dull beyond all belief.

I can't imagine how I'd feel if all those people had worked so hard for me, and the film was THAT poor.
