How would I describe that structure in the first panel of that image? Im thinking of describing it as architectural pipe structure, but that maybe too cumbersome. Any thoughts?

Are you adapting a comic book?  Please say you're not....

You can describe the room as a large dark underground labyrinth broken up by an elaborate mazework of steampipes.

A veritable labyrinth of interlocking pipes, pillars of steam rise from floor vents.

That's what I would say.

Yous guys are using too big of words... LOL

I'd would have just said: A dark, steamy chamber constructed of "interlocking" pipes.

Sean

P.S. I put quotations around 'interlocking' due to the fact that...well...everyone else used them...

Nice, and I believe Phil asked if I was adapting a comic book. Well yes and no because I am mostly doing it as an excercise that may help me with descriptions in my scripts because so far I excel further in dialogue. Thanks again though,

J.L.

lol I have the same problem man, im good when it comes to the dialog, but at the scene descriptions it takes me a while to think of something good.  trying to get the whole description to go smoothly is just a pain in the ass.
