I'm curious what people on this site do/have done to protect their work? Submitting a script on a website for all the world to see... are you nervous it could be stolen?
I would hate to work hard writing the best screenplay the world has ever seen only to have someone claim it as their own work. Do you somehow obtain a copyright? Or register with the writers guild?
Thanks!
(and my apologies if there is a better forum where this should have been posted.

There's actually a lot of threads where this is discussed. Can't look myself at the moment but perhaps if someone knows where they are they can post a link. Up at the top of the page there's a button labelled Search - if you click that and then search for Copyright you will probably find those threads. Maybe a search for WGA would work as well. Hope that helps.
Ya.. Couldn't get the search to work last night, but was just found that the Advance Search does. Weird.
Thanks.
