Thanks man. Yeah, I just checked their website again and 30 pages is the minimum.

I've now got this printed out and I'm gonna go through it looking for ways to develop the story. I think a subplot or two is the way to go. I'll also clean it up regarding some of the comments above (reading it through again, I can't believe I gave the game away in action before revealing in dialogue haha)

Any further opinions are more than welcome.

Craig,

Myself and another writer, whom you may know, sent stuff in to the Beeb writersroom. We both got rejection letters - eventually. I think it was about three months later or so.

However, I did get a damn good and detailed analysis and review of my script, as well as a polite and informative letter.

All in all - it's worth sending something to them. But bear in mind they get thousands every month, the vast majority get rejected. Very few get even a reason, let alone a review.

If you can take rejection well, and as a writer you should get used to it right now, by all means go right ahead.

You never know if you don't try. Read their FAQ and website throughly and comply before sending though. No point ruining it before it's even started. Many do I believe.

Best of luck.
