What’s going on, yall!
Man, I miss this community! I haven’t been active in a while!
I directed my first feature last year that’s on BET+ now, and I’m looking to produce my next!
You know the drill. Low budget, minimal locations, something you can shoot on a $250k-$350k budget. Social commentary is a plus.
I would prefer someone who has had a feature produced before or at least a couple of festival wins on shorts.
Examples of type of scripts I’m looking for (but they’d be lower budget versions) : It Follows, Get Out, Her, Attack the Block, They Cloned Tyrone, NightCrawler.
I love interesting characters or of course high concepts in contained locations with something to say. If it has grounded sci-fi or horror elements, it’s a plus.
