Talking to MTV, star Terrence Howard said they’re already in talks to bring back the pimp turned player for a follow-up. "'Hustle & Flow 2,' we're gonna do it," Howard revealed, adding that all the original cast will return and that the script is in the can.

"We start [filming] at the end of next year," he smiled. "It will be great."

I did not. Why? Because it looked horrible to me. I don't like movies with than one skinny white guy who was in the film "The New Guy".

I’ve actually seen it; you can find my short review in the review section. The simple fact that that it was a decent film doesn’t warrant a sequel. This is just another example of lack of originality and greed.

It was a unique, successful independent film. That alone makes it worth millions of dollars to make a mediocre sequel.
