I think the assigned genres and second sentence cover it. Also, some people are wary of reading the passive voice becuase it can be an indicator of narrative description that gives the impression of passivity, telling rather than showing. I've never come across this twist on the genre so there's plenty of opporunity for someting different, which is intriguing.
