The winner gets produced, contributors to winning screenplays get paid!

Interesting - Thanks for sharing, Mark.

I'll throw my hat in the ring - but the climate change theme made my eyes roll

Need to pop my thinking cap on for this one

Mark, just noticed that they have a referral incentive (if you refer someone who wins, you also win the prize money)

Not that I beleive I have a cat in hells chance of winning lol but if you wanna go the referral route, send it to my email address  - scripts.by.mt@gmail.com - and I'll make sure I sign up using the link
(I don't know how to send the referrals, it's on their website somewhere)

Hmm, interesting, thanks Mark...

No idea what this means though as I don't think I've seen the term used before...

"You agree to exclusively license the copyright in each winning screenplay to Open Screenplay for the purpose of Open Screenplay producing a single “short film” production based upon the respective winning screenplay in consideration for an aggregate license fee/cash award of 2,000 USD for the overall winning screenplay"

What's an aggregate license fee?

Maybe they pay in increments or stagger the payments somehow.
