The Infernal Device by Jesson Kinder - Short, Horror - Writer’s block becomes the least of a novelist’s worries after she buys a cursed typewriter. Each story she completes leads to more blood on her hands. Can she escape the curse? 11 pages - pdf format
I liked the way you capitalized on the concept of writer's block and turned into a nice script.
The idea of 'never-ending curse' is done before but with the idea of your's it seemed fresh. These are the few times that I truly wish that the script was longer since the idea is so nice.
I have never seen thoughts of a character been raised in a script. Since movies are meant to be solid visual medium and only the sure-shot things that visually happen to a character translate onto the script. Nonetheless, it gives a sense of anticipation and delusion so that's fine.
I really liked the concept of this script. Done before? Not that I know of. While reading this script my mind kept thinking that this would be a great short script for a "Twilight Zone" type show. A haunted typewriter won't let the story die. Pretty cool, if you think about it.
The story kept me interested through out. Good job!!
