This was a tough one. Five scripts by six writers. Santa's Coming by Harry and Lloyd - When a man discovers no presents under the tree early Christmas morning, he knows something is up. Or someone... Short, Comedy The Change by Men O' Pause - How do you explain to your BFF that you're changing into a vampire when all you want to do is tear their throat out? Short, Comedy Yarn by Diedrich Knickerbocker - An old woman covered in yarn spills out her secrets in the middle of the night. Short, Horror Children of the Candy Corn by Rich Pudding - A lonely wanker on a lonely highway suddenly finds himself taking a guilt trip down memory lane. Short, Sci Fi Note Worthy by Jayne Air - A country road, a snowy night and a grand performance of road rage does not bode well for an angry driver. Short, Thriller |

Congrats to those who got something in. This is probably one of the toughest challenges we've ever had here. I'll be reading and reviewing all. |

Tbh, I'm not surprised at the script turnouts. Even I thought that there will be around 5 or 6 of them.
Let's focus on quality rather than quantity. |

Okay, read and commented on them all, easy-peasy for a boring cold Friday evening.
I'm gonna say they all pretty much hit the mark re: challenge parameters, so no script's disqualified for voting in my neck of the woods, really tough challenge after all, so kudos to all who entered… see you on the other side! |

Read them all. That was short and sweet for a Saturday morning! I enjoyed the ride, thanks to all who entered. Give yourself a pat on the back and a secret masonic handshake as this was a TOUGH challenge.
I'll sleep on it and vote tomorrow. |

Just posting this twice as a reminder re parameters:
Yuvraj clarified the initial deadly proviso.
If you need to show a character's death then show it. If you don't want to then don't do it.
Consequences can be physical, emotional, or psychological. Or all of these. ...
Interpret it in your own way.
Which means: no-one had to actually die. |

All done. Real tough challenge. Great entries. Not a bad one in the bunch. Hats off to those who managed to get one in. Excellent job. All are deserving. Methinks. |

All read and voted. Don’t kill me, but I think most of these scripts could use a little clean up, and I think it’s because of the challenge parameters. Those clues were hard to think of, and a weeks time really pushed the limit for us. But hey, that’s what challenges are about! |

I'm going to suggest all who read and reviewed PM Don for a ballot. Smaller turnout here, so I'm guessing every vote should count. Keep reading and reviewing, guys and gals! |

Oy. That was quite some clutching, yanking, budging, spitting, dashing around.
I kept wondering why it's going for so long.
Maybe you could have let us know why that started on that very day. I think that's important.
And Megan became her yarn spinning aunt? I'll reread that part. It's just took very long to unveiling the reason behind the why and when it did I was out of breath.
I read three (almost four), this one is the best for me tho. |
