Another favourite - Forever's Gonna Start Tonight by Eliza Hittman. Better than a lot of her features, tbh. Have no idea how to embed.

I think I've seen this before Ben, but watched it again.
It is a serious medical condition you know...
Whew! So well done, but so bleak.

Ben, I watched this Short -
https://m.imdb.com/title/tt1595003/
- a few years ago. Think it might have been right up your alley as the tone is a lot like stories you write. Sadly I can't find an available film now.

Like Curve it's about being stuck in a horrible situation and there is no escape. It starts as Coming of Age but quickly changes to a matter of survival. Unlike Curve we get to know the 'how' they got into the situation etc.

If you find it, let me know. I'd love to watch it again. But read the synopsis anyway. Another terrific Aussie film. I hate when they take these films down, and don't know why, unless they want payment... ?

I feel like I’ve seen it, LC! I remember liking it, but it was probably pre-2016 when I watched it. I’ll try to find it on Vimeo, because that’s where I remember seeing it.

Link?

Speaking of, thanks, Pia!

It was pretty easy to find on YouTube. That's where I saw it.

I wouldn't call it a "favourite", but I recently watched this short (based on the Joyce Carol Oates short story), and it's terrifying:
