Read and commented and voted on them all.

Some nice reads here and some interesting takes on the criteria, well done all for getting a script in.

Phew!  Have spent a good deal of the afternoon reading and commenting on the entries - I tried to get to everyone - hope none were missed.  JMO - but anyone who takes the initiative to write one of these to spec deserves a read and a comment - I hope I didn't miss anyone.  As always, there were some interesting reads.  A couple takeaways...I'm glad that "Love" showed up in more than one entry as the ultimate "superpower".  I believe that.
The other is this from one writer:  You can make any gift you are given priceless.  I feel that for my writing.  I know that many of you will agree.  That is the "superpower" of this group.  Cheers to another OWC!

Inspiring words, Kathy. Thanks for sharing.

Is it safe to say you wrote the rom com then?

No. I wrote a Film Noir/horror to mix things up

All are read and voted on.

Congrats to everyone who entered, and big thanks to those who read that didn't enter.

Thank you, Don and Steve, for a great challenge. Now enjoy your vacation

I didn't participate in the last few OWCs for multiple reasons but have since achieved a 'happy place' again with writing. This was a great challenge to come back to.

Hats off to all the writers that entered and everyone else for reading and reviewing. Some pretty great writing on display and creative takes on the challenge.

My votes are in! Good luck!

We had no dog in this fight, only had plans to read a few  due to our busy schedules, but ended up reading them all. Glad we were able to. Must say it was an interesting challenge. Good job to everyone who manage to get one in. A lot of very fine entries.

All the best.

Ow wow, so many people reading and voting. That's nice to see. And I think almost everyone who's in reading and voting too. What a spirit this time round

I love that you said that, Kham. This is how they all should go — everyone reading, commenting, voting, debating but nothing mean spirited or getting out of control. This is what SS is to me. That said…

I really do have to apologize for reading so few. I’ll try to get in a few more, but I’m currently on vacation and, well, with three kids and all that it’s been kinda tough to find some time.

Still, I’m very happy you guys are all sort of taking the reins and making this challenge a good one!

Steve

I miss the good old days when certain members would stop reading after line 2 if you had an orphan. It took me a while to figure out what an orphan was

Not saying it’s right to stop reading, but it was a valid point.
