Don usually sends me a breakdown so I can keep track of entered scripts in real time, but about four of them appeared out of nowhere. Was pleasantly surprised.
I'm not worried about the review because I understand that it is Easter. Just let you know I submitted my script for this OWC. I should have done it after I submitted. I am late to do.
Wow! Really great turn out for this! Now that the Easter weekend rush is done, I'm going to try and read through as many of these as I can and comment. Looks like a good mixture of genres. I'm excited to read all the entries!
Scripts Available: Christmas Joe (Holiday Drama) Every Time It Snows (Holiday Drama) Happy Holi-DNA (Holiday Romance) Let That Pony Run (Family Drama) With Love, From Romance (Holiday Romance) Essex (Historical Drama)
Shorts: Santuario (OWC Writers' Choice) Death (OWC) Savior (OWC)
Phew! Have spent a good deal of the afternoon reading and commenting on the entries - I tried to get to everyone - hope none were missed. JMO - but anyone who takes the initiative to write one of these to spec deserves a read and a comment - I hope I didn't miss anyone. As always, there were some interesting reads. A couple takeaways...I'm glad that "Love" showed up in more than one entry as the ultimate "superpower". I believe that. The other is this from one writer: You can make any gift you are given priceless. I feel that for my writing. I know that many of you will agree. That is the "superpower" of this group. Cheers to another OWC!
