Also: 4. Don't worry when Jeff ("Dreamscale") reviews your script and tells you that he's "out" after page one. It happens to everyone on here. Like an initiation. Don't take it personally. Wear it like a badge of honor. Oh, and... 5. Don't be Jeff.
|
Also, don't worry about that "Jeff" guy. He's actually a nice guy. BWOOOOOOOOHAHA!!! |

I'm in the middle of writing a new feature but I'll read/review several each day and see if I can get through them all. |

The Bad News - I have spent 10 hours reading scripts today
The Good News - It was the most fun I've had since the lockdown
There are so very solid entries in this OWC - it's going to be a razor's edge, IMO |

So far, I'm very impressed with all the entries... overall, well written and a nice variety of stories in different genres. Just goes to show just how much talent visits and participates on this site. I still have about 9 or so scripts left to read through, but it's been enjoyable.

Yes. There has been some very good work and very little redundancy among the stories |

Just a reminder to Newbs especially, to save your thanks for the feedback until the challenge is over and all feedback has been posted. Don has reminded me that although it's not a criminal offence to flout anonymity it is traditional of OWCs, and it certainly does make the challenge a whole lot more fun. So, no outing yourselves this early on please |

Echoing the others here, all entries are different. I thought they would be the same but I read 6 so far and checked out a few others, and all different ideas. That's amazing. And that makes it interesting to read and easy to enjoy the reads. |

Read a few. Going to have a break until tomorrow and try to avoid script fatigue. Enjoyed what I've read so far, very impressed. A few are not matching the criteria though of "Can realistically be filmed with limited actors and sets" but this is just a creative distraction so I'll try to keep my OCD in check! |

Read every script -- great job, everyone! Some really well-written, creative stories here! I did my best to try to comment on most of them!

I'm in the clubhouse as well...
Very impressed with the quality of the writing and the ideas here. Even more impressed that there was very little redundancy, that each writer seemed to find her / his own segment or niche to explore...
Looking forward to the after-discussion about what might actually be filmable in this very dynamic COVID world of ours now...
Congrats, everyone!
