Oh! I didn't vote. I thought we had until Sunday.

I think the winning script was the only one I didn't read.

Congrats to the winner and runner-up and to everyone else who got a script in on time.

Wow! This surprises me. Never would have pegged Kathy for Dark Passenger. Who would have thought?

And Marnie for Victor's Secret - I was sure a guy had wrote that one.

Spotted Ants right away.

Anywaz, three of our favs.

Congratulations to everyone - you're all winners. _ghostie gal

Well that was fun and a much needed ice breaker for me cus haven't written anything in over a year!!

Thanks for the inspiring prompt! And for the extra 2 days of deadline even though I crammed in most of the writing in the final two hours.  (and it shows) LOL

Loved Ant's and Gary's entries...my top 2 faves. Congrats gents!!

Oh wait, it's over??!! I just started reviewing. Ok) Well, congrats to all participants. I don't know what scripts were in, read Victors Secret and enjoyed it. And I see it's Marnie's.

Congrats to writers choices, it was a tough assignment I thought!

That just goes to show how this group has expanded my horizons!  I know everyone thought I wrote the "Hallmark addiction" one, but nope - I went dark.  I do love the Dexter series though.
When the theme was announced, as usual, I thought I had nothing to offer and wouldn't enter, but these OWCs have proven to be like a siren song to me.  I cannot help myself

Congrats to everyone on another great Challenge!  Loved reading all the entries and many thanks to everyone who read and gave feedback on mine.  And Marnie, maybe Don will get the SS panties for you as your prize!    Congrats!

...

I am just waking up to this.
Sadly, I didn't get my vote in either.
Did we even have a Guess who wrote What?

Okay, going to get caught up now cause I don't even know who took out the trophy/mug/thong.

Sorry, Libby. You can blame that in me. I was all discombobulated by announcing the theme a day late, extending the deadline, cutting down the reading time, etc. it didn’t really leave time for any guesses or anything like that. Couple that with the fact I’m currently on vacation with the family. Guess I kinda took on a little more than I could chew.

That aside, my apologies to all who wanted to get votes in. I don’t think anyone who actually entered missed out on the voting. If anyone did, and it wasn’t by choice, then we may have to look into it.

Steve

Congrats, Marnie & Gary, and Ant!
Well deserved you three.

Like the Ghosties I had picked Ant's, but that was about it!
Well done, Kathy for going dark. I can see Pia is having an influence on you ditching 'only hearts and flowers'.

Kudos to everyone who entered this (imho) very tough OWC.
Thanks Steve &
Thanks Don.

Congrats Gary and Marnie, and everyone for getting on in!

Libby/Ghostie I cannot believe you realised it was me from my dark take on AI/tech, what gave it away

Awesome job writer's choice! Tough challenge to say the least. As always, a big thanks to Steve and Don for keeping us writing. Till next time... probably (hopefully) the Halloween OWC!

Congrats to Marnie and Anthony, and all of the other writers.
Thank you to Don for SS and all of the reminders he emails
of upcoming OWCs.
Thank you, Steve, for the intriguing challenge and extending the
deadline. The extra two days was a difference maker.

In the two decades I've been participating in SS challenges, I have
never done better than the middle of the pack. LOL.

The only Cup I can claim in my life is the one they made us
wear in Jr. High School gym class back in the 20th century.

The primary reason I did so well in this challenge was due to a
pretty good addiction/compulsion/impulse:  Kleptomania.
For reasons unknown, I started thinking about Marnie.
Not "our" Marnie, but the Hitchcock movie. Tippi Hedren played
a klepto. I thought what a great compulsion, both rarely used in
films and perfect for this challenge.
If not for that, I'm pretty sure I would not be in the top group.
