I have one gripe with this challenge but even though I'm going to harp on about it, it's just a minor disappointment.

When the challenge was announced I hoped we'd get a load of scripts with some truly creative dialogue. The type of stuff that when you normally pop it into a script, the first response is, "People don't talk like that!" but then when the right actor says the lines, they become the most quoted dialogue ever! Things like,

"Bunch of slack-jawed faggots around here. This stuff will make you a god damned sexual Tyrannosaurus, just like me."

"You hear me talkin', hillbilly boy? I ain't through with you by a damn sight. I'ma get medieval on your ass."

"I am Godzilla! You are Japan!"

I didn't see much in the way of this, which is a shame. However, that niggle aside these scripts were excellent and most can be cheaply filmed. I expect more options from this OWC than any previous as these are hugely entertaining and CHEAP to produce.

Well done all who took part.

-Mark

I'm glad I came outta my hobbit hole to enter this OWC.

I read them all and I must say very talented, unique scripts.

Thanks Libby and Don for a great challenge and thanks Steve Clark for staying away and stop texting me every night

Voted yesterday. I've my favorite, of course, but this is one of the tightest OWCs I can remember. Pretty sure there won't be a runaway winner.

Fantastic work all around - Congrats to all that entered!

Just a lil' reminder:

Friday 9/25 Writer's Choice votes due.

I will put up a Guess Who Wrote What when Don let's me know all votes are in.
Should be interesting...

No guesses yet. No reveals yet.

It's been a thoroughly enjoyable challenge to read.
