Submitted.

I've noticed a pattern in my OWC entries, in that the ones I am happy with end up doing poorly, and the ones I don't feel as good about, do quite well.

This one, I'm happy with.

Ruh roh.

Either way, good luck everyone.

Sean

In between the stress of starting a new job this week and simultaneously battling the stomach virus from hell, I was thinking I definitely wouldn’t have anything to offer this go round.  So why did the siren song of an OWC have me lying awake at 3 a.m. thinking about stories that might involve old houses? Regardless if I’m in or not, I’m still looking forward to reading all the entries.

Cheers to another OWC!

Oops!!!! I totally forgot to check out the challenge. I remember how it was coming at us and we had to brace ourselves. So I braced myself! And next thing - I forgot about it.

Oh my God, I'm aging

Have fun, people. It seems like a very fun challenge. I'll read a few. If I don't forget

OMG, Kathy - a double whammy. Hope you're feeling better.

Kham, I've seen your gorgeous photo, you're not old - just slack. You still have a day and a half left.

Ant, I have complete faith in you.

Working on one.

Didn't think I'd be in, but a kernel of an idea came to me this morning. So, might as well write it up, see if there's anything there.

Whatever. Like you're NOT gonna submit something last minute and win the challenge.

I've thrown my chips into the game in a vain attempt to overthrow the reign of King Paul.

Good luck everyone!  Can't wait to see all the awesome creativity on display!

Nothing.  Absolutely no ideas.  And I hate the idea of throwing something together that sucks just to get an entry in.

But I do have 13 hours to change my mind, I guess.

Some of my scripts:

Bounty (TV Pilot) -- Top 1% of discoverable screenplays on Coverfly
I'll Be Seeing You (short) - OWC winner
The Gambler (short) - OWC winner
Skip (short) - filmed
Country Road 12 (short) - filmed
The Family Man (short) - filmed
The Journeyers (feature) - optioned

What a coincidence, I have just thrown something together that sucks on my lunch break just so I could get an entry in!

Two steps to writing a good screenplay:
1) Write a bad one
2) Fix it

You weren't getting an abandoned shack inked across your abs during your lunch break? No fair!
