I'm never paying for coverage, or contest feedback, because you know this is what the interns and unpaid readers will be doing to get through their workload, even if they do skim the script themselves.

Exactly. It's just a moneymaking rort for those at the top.

If you regard coverage as a money making vanity project than thats what it is. However if you regard coverage as a tool to help you achieve your aims, then thats okay too. It is what it is. Its there regardless.

Just to add Libby your critiques are worth their weight in gold.

My Screenplays
Two Moons
The Deadly Fruit Of Original Sin
The Blue Room
No Time For Love
The Source
The Pearl Earring
The Bigger The Storm
Before She Died

And many many more...

Just to clarify John, I think Coverage is good from some reputable places.

I am however skeptical of Coverage offered in addition to entry fees with certain writing comps.

P.S. Oh, that's a very nice thing to say, thanks.

Agree! Libby is also one of the most prolific readers here, so more worth in gold there.

As far as coverage goes, I have had to resort to using that for the last six months or so. My go-to reader friends are pretty much gone. They have moved on to other things in life and to be honest, I'm sort of there myself as well. I have a few projects I want to finish first though. Too many other things I want to do. Here's something I bet no one would've guessed, but I always had this dream of building my own little model Swedish town complete with trains and stuff. It will be a big one too.

I would never pay for contests or any vanity projects either. However, to recognise how far you’ have reached with a feature you will need professional coverage at some point. I believe AI Coverage offers just that.
