Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that the only area of this site that people play attention to is the Unproduced section. For the last few... it must be years by now, the Television, Movie, Radio etc. sections have gone ignored. I hope that for whatever reason Don doesn't take offence to this, but I just don't see the point of the other sections on this site. Would anyone like to clue me in as to why they're there?

A LOT of people visit Simply Scripts every day. Far from everyone visits the forums. I'm sure those other sections get quite a few visits by people even if they are not discussed here.

I, for one, have always enjoyed that Don updates the movie scripts.

I've read a few gems because of my time on here.

All I'm saying is, the members on this site only seem to be interested in reading, commenting on and sharing each other's scripts! I think it's safe to say that at least half of the members are only on this site because they've submitted their own work. Not that that's a bad thing, of course. It just never seems to be about the produced scripts.

And we've had some good discussions on these. I've had the opportunity to read, watch and study them simply because of Simply.

No way in the world I'm gonna read and post a review of David Koepp or Tarintino's or Charlie Kauffman latest script cause there is no chance they're gonna read and post a review of my script.

So that's why I review scripts from the writers who dwell in the unproduced basment, cause they're a bunch of nice people (even the big ego ones) who are always willing to read my scripts and if I do my job right, enjoy my script.

That is why people join the forums though. I was reading scripts on the main site before I actually joined to.

That's where I found the version of Freddy Vs Jason where Jason speaks.

Once you join the forums you don't have to stop doing that but this isn't exactly a discussion board for "produced" scripts unless you look in "Script Reviews" "I'm Looking For" and the discussions on them in Screenwriting Class.

Tilts hat, from one unproducee to another.

...I've been waiting over 15 years for Tarantino to shed some light on my 'Pulp the Fiction' script, any day now.

Same here Stevie. It was a month before I clicked on here. I thought 'unproduced scripts' was just the likes of Batman Vs Superman by Andrew Kevin Walker and that Alien 3 script that was set on a planet of monks. Doh doh!
