That would obviously be for the "b" contest

Trust you, Dave. I meant sexy sirens in swimsuits, of course.

I wonder how varied the genre selection will be. I'll bet at least half are horror.

I'm curious as well. People could stick to their strengths for this, but sci-fi, horror, and drama are easy fits.

I actually have an idea, but the motivation to write is lacking, and then I think about reading and I can't quite commit.

I think it's going to be a hell of a OWC though, great criteria to really let loose and some excellent writers going head to head (Dave, Mark, Al, Paul), all Crappy Mug recipients in the recent past.

I will be watching from the sidelines again.

*Gives Warren a kick up the arse to get him writing*

I have a first draft! so I am 100% in, hopefully I have some time tomorrow to fine-tune it.
I doubt it's any good, but it was pretty fun to write.

I actually struggled with how open this challenge was - My mind kept wandering between the different genres and criteria - but hopefully, that means we get a good mix of stories in this one

Thanks for hosting Rene

Should author's put any name on the title page, e.g. an alias, or leave that space completely blank?

Up to you - If you don't give yourself an alias then Don just assigns them as "Anonymous"

Exact opposite with me, Dude. I love how open this challenge is and hope future challenges take a similar approach. As soon as I read the criteria, a wild idea punched me in the throat.

As others have said, you can include an alias or leave it blank. Up to you.

Personally I like adding an alias, but some (no names, rhymes with Keff) don't particularly like it.

Sometimes those peeps with a name rhyming with Neff think the fake name that was used is just too dumb to be taken seriously, but other times, peeps with a name rhyming with Feff do appreciate a good alias.

Yeah, it's always an interesting time when he-whose-name-rhymes-with-Neff and he-whose-name-rhymes-with-Feff are in the same room together. Bring the popcorn.

Have an idea and 4 hours! That's one more hour than I spent on my October OWC entry...which sucked. Hopefully the extra hour will bring it up a notch from suck to just crap. Good luck all!
