You sure have me all sorted out, don't you. I guess I should see about that "manic depressive" diagnosis you gave me earlier this week, on the post Don deleted.

Marnie, I don't want to fight with you... and I don't want to insult you. It's fun with Jeff, but with you it gets dirty, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Comments affect you far more than they do Jeff. I say things the way I see them. I'm happy to be proven wrong.

See... I can't actually tell if you're joking or not. It's just one story. I'm pretty sure you didn't like mine either and I haven't cried about it... aside from when I was pretending. I'm actually quite proud of my story. Quite a few don't get it or get all of it... but that's OK, because some things are in the subtext and not everyone is astute or sober enough to pick that up first time around.

You say, "with you it gets dirty, leaves a bad taste in my mouth." and I say "that's insulting" and you really don't know if I'm joking? Yikes. I thought it was a pretty good end to this back and forth we've had. You ended it...then I ended it with a little jokey. So cute and sweet. Burying the hatchet in each other's heads. Guess I'm not so good at comedy after all. (that was a joke, by the way)

I never said it was mine. Maybe it is...maybe it isn't. A couple have guessed differently.

Interesting to see what people think you wrote though.

At first I thought you wrote "Cold Alone"... then "Conversion". After I read "Nathan Green", the unbolded slugs weren't fooling me.

Ah,  read that thread just now - I get it now. I thought it was yours because of the wording and the theme, not for that other stuff...

Well, this thread turned into a warzone. Guess Reef's quote from "Imagine" didn't help.

On topic to the "harsh reviews":

I'm far from the greatest reviewer and along with that it's hard for me to make my reviews sound "right". So if anyone has interpreted my feedback in the wrong way, don't. My intentions are not to be uptight/insulting/overly harsh or patronising in any way, I simply try to give my honest thoughts on the script while hopefully being at least somewhat constructive.

Happy belated Halloween as well, folks.

Write Club.

This place has never been a pleasant community workshop since before I became a member.
It's an effing back-alley gladiator school.

Ah yes, I see it now. I had to get ready to go out. Saturday night is starting here in the UK. Glad we're cool again, thanks... and sorry.

What if we have the best reviewer nomination thist time round?

I actually followed one guy around, reading his comments. He was very thourough, and obviously didn't just scan the scripts and left very constructive comments on every read. I'm talking about EWall. Great job on your comments!

Don't know if he's reading.

Eric does do great reviews. I'll shout out Daniel too, really in depth and sincere. Rick's are always outside the box and a pleasure to read. Libby has a great attention to details. I think everyone does an outstanding job. Collectively, the notes you get here are better than paying for them.
