Is it just me or isn't "psychiatrist office" originally screaming drama?

I got a theme but have to push a certain scenario inside to hit on genre. Ah… just shit-chatting of me. It's do or die I guess. I'm not a restriction guy as some may know, always on the other side, so I got another question, Sean,,,, you know what you demand regarding a two genre script within that bubble head therapist thing damn

Kinda glad I'm out on this.... I had the bobblehead, and the psychiatrist's office. The fusion would have thrown me. Sean, you are evil, and there is a special place in Hell for SS moderators... (0:

Good luck to all - I may read when I can.

I went from a total deer in the headlights look of despair, to blazing out a first draft. Holy crap, that wasn't an easy task. I'm so thankful for the 1-5 page limit. We're going to have a lot of reading these next few weeks.

I'm going to let this marinade for a while but, when it's ready, where's the link to submit?

Come on. After pulling those topics out, I had five ideas come to me. Only one was decent, but we're not going to talk about that.

That's the nicest thing anybody's said to me all day. Thank you. Sorry, Bert, Pia and Libby, you're all coming down with me. Anthony said so.

I believe Don will provide one. I haven't heard, yet, but I'm sure you'll receive one when it's ready.

Oh man, I overlooked the four given genres. I thought it could be any of the two that are out there. Ugh, and I was on p5 of my script.

and how's action possible in this scenario?
I agree with Prussian. Psychiatrist screams drama.

Really interesting parameters, Sean.

And by “interesting” obviously I mean “diabolical”

Am traveling and willing to take my lumps the first week and continue onward from there. If I have time to stitch together a non-pisser in Time then you’ll all see it.

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)

Additional scripts are listed here.

Unfortunately, yeah, those are the four acceptable genres. It is possible to reach them accidentally, though...

You're the writer, Khamanna. You tell me how action is possible. And, psychiatrist screams any genre you want it to. =)

You guys are going to make me blush if you keep heaping all this praise on me...

Got it down to five pages after much woodwork. I'll leave it now, and do a final pass later.

I'm done.

It's pretty bad though.  I doubt it'll receive a positive mark.

I finally have an idea!!!

It's a terrible idea that should never exist, but it's happening anyway.

Now I gotta try and figure out a way to make it not look like a pisser

Feature

42.2

Two steps to writing a good screenplay:
1) Write a bad one
2) Fix it
