I've just read three so far - pretty busy.

One was nowhere near the parameters. A shame because there was a lot to like otherwise.

Made me wonder if peeps just don't read the guidelines carefully enough sometimes. I thought these were so straightforward it would be hard to miss. Hmm.

I'm surprised how dumb some peeps are, based on their reviews.

Such simple, simple things they don't get.  I just have to shake my head and laugh out loud.

I need to really dumb down my writing for this crowd.

Reading and commenting on 21 scripts, while writing, and working, and taking care of family, and mowing the lawn... isn't an easy task. So, I try to be forgiving in reading reviews of my stuff. That said... I can't tell you how many times I've read a review and wanted to scream "It's on page 1!" (I even did it this round.) Not to pick on anybody... because they provide excellent reviews... but, last challenge someone commented: "You really should help us with the time frame of these events." I literally had EXACT dates on page one: Christmas and February 18th. Exact.

Knowing they're a good writer and reviewer, I knew they just missed it. Not on purpose. Not out of stupidity. They just missed it. Sucks that it affects scores... but, thems the apples.

No doubt I do it regularly too. And, yes... I've even seen you do it. (Probably. Who knows. I'm just making things up now.)

Every now and then, even I miss something, but rarely.

I can't wait to see what I missed, Rene...will you show me?  Please?

Well, you do often have to finish scripts to get them. Start with those.

Oh boy...really?

I read each of the 1st round in their entirety, which is more than a number of peeps here did.

In round 2, same goes, start to finish, each and every one.

C'mon now...

Oh, man. This is pretty close to you calling out others for not finishing scripts.

Let me grab some popcorn...

Read the comments.  Several came right out and said they had to bale...or skim.

In an OWC, that's perfectly fine, as you can give the script a score of ZERO...or 1, based on whatever you want to base it on.

This challenge is different, as there are 5 categories, each with a possible 5 points.  If yuo skim or literally stop reading, you cannot score them accurately...no way possible.

True, you've managed to power through them during this tournament so far. How admirable. It's still shitty to call out people for not getting things you're finding obvious when you haven't gotten a lot of things in OWCs that other people got just fine.

1. Disagree. There are multiple options available. One being DNS.
2. If you think calling people out for not finishing scripts is appropriate, given your history... well, more power to you. But, you'll all have to forgive us for having a good laugh at your expense.

I don't find it "shitty" at all, really.  It is what it is.  If something is wrong, it's wrong, and should be pointed out.  If it's not wrong, calling it out is wrong.

When I make a mistake, I apologize, and thank the person who let me know...whether it's on my own work or a comment I made.  I don't see anyone ever doing that.

I'm here to entertain, and if you feel it's at my own expense, that's OK with me.

I made a very general statement and did not call anyone out by name.  It's merely an observation.

Peeps read very quickly, and spend very little time on their comments and critique...that is very clear.

Well, sure. But, in everyone's defense... including your own... this is a crap-ton of work.

I've spent more time reading each entry than I spent reading my own, before I submitted

1) Write a bad one
2) Fix it
