I wasn't really sure where to post this question, but it seemed like one others may also want answered, in the future. I sent in a screenplay to be hosted here almost 2 weeks ago. It's not posted yet, but I'd like to know if I can have it pulled so I can rather post a fixed draft? I've made several fixes to my script, and now feel it's complete.
Ok, thanks! And yeah, I believe I may have sent it from another email address I use (duckmindmd@hotmail.com). I'll send the revision from xxoxia@gmail.com.
If u want, use Dropbox. It saves time on both ends.

You will get another email on Sunday indicating that your script is live on the site. I upload scripts through the week and on Sunday announce them on the main site. By then, I'll have your revised draft up.

But how secure is it? I heard not so much... Are there better alternatives?
Your own website... that you have ftp access to. FTP is just the method you use to upload files to your site.
Otherwise, look for any type of storage clouds. On line clouds, obviously. With a cloud (which dropbox is) you should be able to hit save on your work and it instantly save a copy to your cloud. So if your PC goes down and your HD is shot, your work will be safe.
Do Apple give free cloud space? Ubuntu used to, but they've stopped now. I'm pretty sure Windows has one now though. Maybe it's just for their latest OS.
Google Drive is another free one... but I haven't set it up myself.
I've used Dropbox for pretty much everything and it seems to work very well for me. You can share a link to a file on your Dropbox site, but that doesn't mean the reader is actually getting access to all of your files. The reader can only read what you share with them. To get into your files, they would need your username and password, just like any other secure site you use out there. To me, the biggest difference is that most hackers aren't really interested in stuff you keep on your Dropbox (unless you're Jennifer Lawrence or some other actress and that's where you save your nudie pics), because documents and pics don't have any real financial value to the hacker.
And as mentioned, whenever you make updates to the file, the reader will also see the changes. Same is true of docs stored on Googledocs or Googledrive.

I've never really been able to figure out Dropbox. I had it for a while, and anytime I tried to use it, it just ate all my memory and crashed everything. I finally just got rid of it. On another note, I got an email saying my new draft would be up the other day, but I still can't find where they are posted. The only way I can even find the old draft is through the link in the forum. I can't find it anywhere in the unproduced screenplay section on the main site.
