If you want to know how legit a competition is, visit Moviebytes.com.  This site lists all competitions as well as feedback from those who entered the competition in the past.

I wanted to bump this thread up after a little incident, last night, on the boards.  There are plenty of good competitions our there but there are also a lot of bad ones.  

If you are considering entering a competition, visit moviebytes.com and research it a little bite.  This site lists competitions along with reviews from those who have entered them.
