Good day to you all. New here, and very new to screenwriting. I look forward to learning more from all of you and keeping my creative juices flowing.

Welcome!

SS is a quid pro quo site, so reading and reviewing other people's work and making your presence felt is an excellent way to learn the craft fast and get reciprocal reads. Oh, and reading Pro scripts too.

You don't need to be an expert to review, just give your opinion on story, what worked for you, what didn't etc.

P.S. You're ahead of the game if you're from SK country.

Hey Coastal,

Welcome to SS!

It's a great site, full of useful info, tips, and scripts of course.

I recommend reading both the produced scripts and the unproduced scripts as it'll really help you get an idea of what screenwriting is about, what usually works, and what usually doesn't.

And I really really recommend reading scripts... like, a lot! Even the shit ones. Personally, I wish I read more before I started writing as it would have saved me loads of time and I'm now having to make up for it... oh well.

Cheers,

Max

Yes, the King is about 90 minutes away. Never met him but bagged his groceries at the store when I was a teenager. Once.

My wife used to live a few streets away when she was a kid, said they had the best Halloween back in the day, but I don't think he does that anymore.
