Something Alwyas Lurks (Horror, Short) Scary Movie 4: (Comedy) The Spoofs (Series, satire) Untitled (horror) Gorge Park (Drama, short) Solar Powered Movie (comedy, coming soon)
Ben, I didn't see this I'll get somebody on it now or is it your sig?...
Kazzurie, or SirLaasson, forgive my natural skepticism but I thought it strange that an unknown college student would be able to secure multi-million dollar movie budgets so I did some googling and, frankly, you sound like a con artist. I found several 'free domain' websites for your 'projects' and a couple of threads where you were looking for funding and other people accused you of the same thing.
On one site you mentioned several companies that you own, including 'Third Eye Manga' and 'NowAnimation' Googling for these companies yeilded several more freely made websites with zero content.
You're playing with peoples dreams here when you request scripts and promise huge budgets. Maybe you should explain your intentions and back it up with some facts
I'm out of college now... I like freewebs.com so I start up a lot of websites...
Thats when I got out on my own a year ago now. Third Eye Manga' and 'NowAnimation was started by in 2002 in my art class.
I'm not playing with peoples dreams... I haven't had them sign anything for the scripts... Until I secure funding then I'll get them to sign. Ask Robert have I had him sign anything.
I think the concern is the process in which you are taking. In your signature, you are suggesting that a $100 million movie is in development for 2009? That's HUGE. Where are the details of the project? Who is funding it? What production company or companies are developing it?
I've got 2 scripts optioned, here's how it went:
1. I queried production companies 2. One was really interested and asked if I would like to option the script with them. 3. We talked, the producer listed all his work and credits. I did some research on the LLC company and so forth. 4. I decided he was legit and signed an option for so-so $$. 5. During the option period, said producer then started his development process. 6. A year later, he is securing the financing and has a top-line casting director securing the talent. This still took a year to develop to this point. 7. Once everything is secure, then I will sign the purchase agreement agreed upon in the option agreement.
I'm surprised at the lack of information on yourself and your production company. Also, I'm really surprised that you have not optioned The Farm. What happens if Robert gets a purchase offer or option offer in the meantime? If you are trying to secure the funding and you lose the script - how will that look on you?
I already have a option purchase written up. If someone have already secure the funding to do this Robert should jump on it. Judy (the person who will fund the film) knows how I work.
How are you able to a $100,000,000 film, plus an $80,000,000, plus a $5,000,000 movie, plus a $5 - $25 million dollar movie? If your spending that much money on a movie, is it going to theaters?
for my epic thats how much it will cost to make it...
For "the farm" I have to attach one star which I'm in discussion with now and a distribution deal which I'm in discussion with now. Yes, it will go to theaters
