Striking distance. There's a car chase scene. Not much boat action except for the end.

Just Murdered by Sean Elwood (Zombie Sean) and Gabriel Moronta (Mr. Ripley) - (Dark Comedy, Horror) All is fair in love and war. A hopeless romantic gay man resorts to bloodshed to win the coveted position of Bridesmaid. 99 pages.

Darn, that isn't the one, then?

I know I remember some film where pretty much the whole movie is people haulin' butt around the Everglades in their speedboats.

The only thing that bothers me more is that you actually recall this film haha.

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

'Deliverance'.

You can't not call them boats.  Not to mention, if some rednecks were trying to cork my keister, my kayak would be breaking water, land, and air speeds.

Plus, I have been told I have a pretty mouth.

You sure that's not Live and Let Die? That was set in the Everglades

Face/off is gonna be the best boat chase out there for a long, long time, in my opinion.  Fun fact: that boat chase was actually in the script for Hard Target, but Van Damme insisted that instead of a boat chase, it be the helicopter/horse chase which is in the finished film.  Woo therefore held onto the boat chase until he was able to fit it in to Face/off.

Puppet on a Chain: http://youtu.be/3p0O1QsXfnQ (SPOILERS; but the movie sucks)

The above two, along with a couple of the Bond ones (Moonraker, World Is Not Enough) are probably the most impressive I've seen.

The Italian Job (2003): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=764r3kF5tZg

Hard Rain has lots of boat- and jet-ski-related action.

Patriot Games' climactic scene is a speed-boat action scene.  All I can find: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvAByCIqoOM (SPOILERS)

The Protector (Tony Jaa) has a (boring) boat chase.

The Tourist, I think, had a (presumably bad) boat chase?

EDIT:  How could I forget?  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SI1zIJ5HTk

And Speed II totally has one -- he jacks a speed-boat from that same poor guy from the first Speed, remember?

Been trying to remember this title since yesterday -- finally just Googled it.

Old Bruce Willis movie called, "Striking Distance" -- if memory serves, the whole film is pretty much boat chases, as he is with the Coast Guard or some such thing.

Wow. So bad. I just may die...

It might not be the whole movie but I remember some chase scene in the Everglades in Police Academy (5 if I’m not mistaken) but I think you would call them airboats to be fair?

Granted this is probably not the type of "chase you are looking for, but do I get points for saying The Birds? The scene where the woman is on the boat and the guy notices her and drives  to the dock to catch her. I hope that scene exists and I didn't just make it up in my head... Or maybe I should hope I did make it up in my head.

'Artist' is not a term you should use to refer to yourself. Let others, and your work, do it for you.

Hitch is always worth at least a point...
Even movies like Torn Curtain have a merit or two!

LOL!

I can't recall the scene either.
The Birds is like Hitchcock's impression of Michael Bay...
So, there should be a boat chase in there!

E.D.
