After an exhaustive search, I think I've found the best notes application.

Nimbus Note! (https://nimbusweb.me/)

The best part for me is the folder implementation along with it's speed. You can quickly go from document to document without having to wait an eternity like with Google Docs.

I enjoy having all of my writing projects in their own folder, each with their own outline, brainstorms, tasks or character workups. If you try this Office or Docs, it turns into a dismaying array of files with no real structure which drives me crazy.

Might give it a shot instead of using slow and archaic Word or Docs.

Thanks, Robert.

I thought it was just me. Some other goodies I've found:

CalmlyWriter: https://calmlywriter.com/online/
NoteJoy: https://notejoy.com/
Box Notes: https://www.box.com/notes
Simple Note: https://simplenote.com/

Calmly is awesome for distraction free writing - once you figure out how to save their files. LOL. NoteJoy and Box Notes may be better for some and Simple Note is much simpler.
