This seemed more appropriate to share here than on the actual movie thread

James, cheers for the read and I've just got your pm where I mentioned this lol.

A Jesse (maybe Jessie, not sure actually) is just someone who is scared of most things, like a coward.

Thanks for reading though and that you breezed through it.

E.D. that was classic!  Pretty much said everything I did too.

Anyone else notice that the Engineer in Prometheous is roughly 10-12 feet tall yet the same species that are found in Alien is roughly 30 feet tall?  Continuity error....?

Good post.

Hey Anthony!

Glad you liked the short.
I thought of you when I saw it.

So, I'm a little late to the party...
But I'm gonna crack this gooey puppy open this morning.

P. 5
I like the jokes right up to Fifield picks on the captain.
The synthetic typically does run the ship when everyone's in stasis.

P. 7
David does seem a bit obsessed about the tactile. Doesn't he?

P. 9
I wondered about the bot mapping too.
I mean, they're constantly showing that 3D tracking map. WTF?

P. 18
Weyland oversleeps. LOL!

P. 24
Yeah, the rolling donut of doom was giggle inducing.
I kept thinking... Don't they have Wile E. Coyote cartoons in 2089?

Light read with sarcastic bit. I dug it.
There were typos I'm sure others caught...
But in these kinds of script, I tend to tune out stuff like that.

So, are you going to write your sequel before Ridley does?

Regards,
E.D.

Quoted from bert
...

"You were scared of bugger all a few hours ago."

I do not even know what that means, really, and it still cracked me up. Same goes for, "Cobblers."

...

I'm gutted Bert doesn't understand the English idioms, I always assume they're ubiquitous. As for the script, it reminded me of Python in places, the anarchic fast-switching dialogue and zany imagery. Plus the satirical swipes at bad sci-fi were welcome. More than welcome. The only slight question i'd have is whether it's a little too self-aware in places - you can almost see the characters winking as they deliver lines (although that might be what you were aiming at)...

Sweet read.
