Took a lot of what people said and adjusted things here and there and put out a longer episode of this pilot. Did my best to leave alone what worked and improve what didn't, I have 1 or two parts I'm still nervous about but I think its a better read.
I'm mainly curious how the last 3 pages are since since thats when the tone changes. I did my best to improve the supernatural stuff from the last draft and make everything a little stranger.
(I wont spam this place up with my work when I finish a new draft. Don't need to make the mods lives difficult)
Wow. Dollars of the damned made it into a screenplay competition. Wont know the result on this until October 25th or so. This is actually my first competition I've ever applied too.
Couldn't have done this without you guys feedback!
I don't know yet. I'll probably have an idea in 2-3 weeks how far it goes. Getting accepted was the first big hurdle and I have no idea what the quality of the other contestants work is. I'd assume its most likely better than mine since I'm my own worst critic and second guess myself too much.
More than happy what I have got through the first front gates though!
I am curious as to how this screenplay competition works.
Usually, you pay an entry fee to get into the competition, then the script progresses (or doesn't) through the rounds.
Does this one have an initial selection process and then those chosen moves onto the actual competition? Did they say how many scripts made it past selection?
