Cheers Anthony.

Just a heads up that the current submission window for the BBC Writer's Rooms closes tomorrow (29th), so if anyone is interested, better get on it asap.

I started to apply for some freelance writing work posted on Upwork, but stopped when my photo was no clear enough to be recognized by face recognition software. In the photo (on left), I'm wearing a big straw hat and amber glasses (NOTE TO THE LADIES: I have a full head of salt and pepper hair, but really like the hat).

Enough already with the probing and tracking. Why does NSA, FB, Upwork, Oath, Amazon and others all want to know so much about little old me? Hard to imagine every key stroke, comment, post, content, email, location and telephone call made by someone as truly insignificant as me could be such a hot and sought after product. Perhaps they're just trying to design, build and offer me the most wonderful products or most acceptable and appealing political blather (blah-blah)? Gee, I hope so.

EDIT:

Anthony, Perhaps the death of privacy in the digital age should be the subject for a feature (by you)? John
