It's -10degrees in Virginia, and my car heater is not working. No money to fix it or no one will lend the poor guy with cash. This morning I was driving to work, and it takes an hour to get there. My feet were getting cold, then it started to feel pain. When I got off my car, I was limping. I Googled it and it's frostbite. They say I might lose my leg if it keeps happening. At this time, I am worried that I will get hyperthermia while driving and collapse then have an accident and die. My ex told me she will help me fix the car but I don't want her money. Should I take her money?
A lie has traveled around the world while the truth is putting the shoes on.
Not to make it seem like I've been in a bitter relationship before, (or still am), but hell yeah, take her for all she's worth! I guess unless you have pride. But pride won't keep you warm, will it?
:-) I'm just kidding. My advice is the same as Libby's (LC's), take the money and pay her back. And until then, wear two or three pairs of socks and wrap some plastic tightly around your feet. That should at least keep the cold out of those extremities. How's your fingers doing?
And Libby, you got some nerve posting on this thread. Last week you guys were in 120 degree heat and saying how you had to spend the day in the pool in your bikini. (You never mentioned a bikini, but that's how I'm going to remember it. :-)

Hey, Is this a Synopsis for a movie. Hee Hee Just kidding
DON'T take the money, if the relationship didn't work before it won't now.
Buy two hot water bottles and strap one to each leg, they should remain warm for an hour or two.
Alternatively, lite a fire in a barrel on the back seat. The advantage of this is you can toast marshmellows or cook breakfast at the same time.
Seriously, if you have a plug for the cigarette lighter that works, you can get all sorts of devices/heaters that plug in as well as USB adapters and seat warmers, electric thermos etc. etc. Most are not that expensive and will cost you less than fixing the car.

Yep, good one Mark. It's more like sunstroke here!
Never been in weather like Coldbug mentions - you have my heartfelt sympathy mate.
Fix the heater by any means possible, and that includes borrowing money from your Ex, your friends, your family, even your employer. Of course, you'll pay them back as soon as you can. Set up a payback schedule.
Dude, for reals...this is fucked. Fix the heater!!!
