I've never written a horror script. But maybe I'll give horror a try (assuming that it's going to be that because it's the October one), if I'm not too busy.

I would love feedback on any of these!

Haha, thanks mate.

I'm always interested to put faces to names on here, especially for the regulars.

James, I honestly can't imagine you looking like anyone other than Jeff Bridges.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand, horror please!

I'm travelling but will do my best to take part

An unusual horror topic would be good.  I remember the gothic horror threw up some good scripts.

I haven't written anything in a while, been unwell and real life has been throwing me curve-balls. Yesterday I wrote two pages of a new short script and it felt AWESOME but I'm so rusty. I need this OWC so going to try my best to get in on this action. Bring it on!

It's going to be a horror that is for sure, I'm just hoping it is a horror about pumpkin spiced lattes.

Hey Don, I hope you give us some extra days in the reading period, as usual. For those trying to handle the batch and write reviews for possibly 35+ in 7 days - can be hard. A few extra days relax things a bit.

Alex,

I might.  I'm trying to do something 'fancy' for this OWC. Which would require each participant to read five scripts and rank them.  If this 'fancy' thing falls through, then I'll give extra time to read.   Also, regardless, you'd have two full weeks to read before writer's names are revealed.

No mention of Halloween allowed;2 mimes have to be in wheelchairs but only one can be set on fire; one of the mimes has to be a Rams fan; the third person killed has to be from Florida and be a Beatles fan; and finally at the end we have to see some maniac named Jeff kneel with Kap

Well if this is going to have a NFL flavor to it then I'll have to get in. I'm a Detroit Lions fan and they've been a horror story for decades.

In keeping with the usual theme and genre of the October OWC, I take it your entry will be a Thanksgiving Sci-Fi/Romantic Comedy?

Also, I've a feeling this is going to be one of the biggest turnouts ever for an OWC.

BTW, can anyone tell me what GMT means??

October OWC is usually the most popular one.

Greenwich Mean Time. It's in the UK so if you are on EDT, we're four hours before GMT.

++++
Don's edit:

If it is 6:47 pm edt, it is 10:46 pm gmt

After the end of Daylight Saving Time, we will be five hours before GMT.
