We've all got them.

Here's my two;

Deadly Friend - Early Wes Craven film where an uber-geek brings his next door neighbour back to life by implanting a chip into her brain. Genius! Has the old lady from the Goonies in for good measure. (Basketball in the head worth the 99p bargain basement price alone!)

Cuffs - Christian Slater is George Cuffs.....nuff said.

Cherry 2000 is a Melanie Griffith movie where she plays a bounty hunter hired to help find a model Cherry 2000 sex-bot.  The cheese-meter actually goes up to eleven on this one.  Tim Thomerson plays desert cult leader, Lester, and Larry Fishbourne even has a small role in it.

Tremors - It's about giant man eating worms, silly and stupid but I loved it

Killer Klowns from outer space - The title says it all

Point Break - surfer bank robbers staring Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves

Hey Jordan, have you been checking out my collection?  Tremors is a brilliant film so to Point Break but Killer Klowns is so bad it's genius!!  I haven't seen it in years but I remember the Klowns being really weird and pretty good effects too.  I love the hand shadow scene though, Roar!!!

The Avengers.  I don't know anyone but myself that liked it but I don't care.   I could watch it again and again.  I especially dig that theme music.

Born to Win. It was a bargain basement DVD I bought from the supermarket. It was one of Robert Deniro's first films and he's hardly in it but you'd think he was the star judging by the front and back cover. It's about a junkie and is set in New York in the early 1970s. Sure it looks dated and some of the scenes are cheesy but I like it.

I also really like The Blair Witch Project and Eyes Wide Shut. I don't think that they're terrible films but for some reason a lot of other people do.

Deep Rising - fast moving, funny movie. Good turn from Treat Williams, cool one-liners, good action and monster-CGI and a nice Goldsmith score. Love this movie. Don't know if I'd call it terrible as it is sure better than some of the big budget crap being released nowdays, but  overall it's not well regarded.

"Master's of the Universe" starring Dolph Lungren. hahah big He-Man fan growing up.
"Krull" cheesey early 80's Sci-Fi Fantasy not to be confused with "Kull the Conquerer"
"Navy Seals" with Charlie Sheen and Michael Biehn.
"The Burbs" with Tom Hanks
"Commando" the acting is so bad... and the script is worse but Ahhnold makes it work

I cannot think of any secret films I like that I haven't mentioned before... what about Power Rangers, those original movies were awesome when I was younger.

Yeah, completely agree. It's a horrible movie but it's nonstop laughs. I literally laughed my lungs out for like 75% of this movie.

Besides the ludicrous script, bad acting, and xylophone-filled island theme soundtrack, it also has one of the most hilarious villains ever: a (for some reason) leather and chain mail clad ex-commando, fighting, apparently,  suppressed homosexual urges.  Watch this for a small taste of the marvel that is Bennett.

lol I love the one liners. Vintage Schwarzenegger.

I love The 'Burbs too - but I wouldn't put it in a list of terrible movies, just under-rated ones. Around the time of Cast Away, saw a great interview on TV with Tom Hanks where he said  the Burbs was one of his personal favorites and he was really disappointed it didn't find an audience. He then said he felt, in years to come, it would be seen as one of his best movies and a comedy classic. The man was dead serious. And he's right !

But Masters Of The Universe IS a bad movie I love...it's just so cheesy but has a great production design, great costumes, Langella is WAY crazy as Skeletor, and the score bt Bill Conti is excellent.

Flash Gordon.  Great casting with Max Von Sydow as Ming, but this was a pretty cheesy movie on the whole...

...and is part of my dvd collection.  I love it.

I guess "Meets The Cosmic Cheerleaders" was the sequel? I think I saw it. They are on a plane and it starts going down or they pass through something that makes everyone want to f... everyone else.

The movie was awesome when I saw it years ago.

Not exactly porn but so wrong.

Have you seen Shortbus? It got an R I believe and it is a porno.

Yeah, Cosmic Cheerleaders is the sequel, but I remember the plane scene being in the original.  I wouldn't discount them using it again though.

I've heard of Shortbus, and have seen a lot of discussion about it, but I've never seen it.  May have to add that to the old Netflix queue.

The first scene has a guy sucking his own... yeah. It also has the one girl from Much Music  (Canadian Music Station) and if you get past the dirty parts it is not a terrible film but never admit to a bunch of guys that you watched it as I found out the other day at work.

Chris, the original Toxic Avenger is a good film but the sequels that follow are junk.

Lloyd Kaufman has great documentaries on his later DVD's on the making of his indy films and even released a DVD box set called "Make Your Own Damned Movie" and in my opinion it is helpful towards starting an indy film career but may not be useful to those who want to go in with some sense of dignity.

Troma survived by producing movies for next to nothing.  It never took much for them to turn a profit.  And this was before everyone has DVD and VHS players.

Ed Wood would be proud.

And that is why they are all so terrible. They hire actors who want to be in porn and not actors who want or have any acting talent. (Watch the documentaries, I did.)

That's why the films are perfect to be secret likes.

Anyway a lot of people rag on Gigli as being one of the worst films made for whatever reason and it is not that bad.

Now that I know all of your secrets, the title has to be changed to something that suits the fact that they are not a secret anymore. (That was a joke and although it is not very funny, I secretly like it.)

I suggest looking at some of the actual movie clips on YouTube as well.

I forgot to comment on it earlier, but I'm with Martin on Death Race 2000 as well.

The Last Broadcast. simply because, although it isn't great it gets a bum deal.  It came out a good year before Blair Witch and gets no credit despite Blair totally ripping the idea.  in fact I still think Broadcast did it better.

Oh I just thought of a better one...Evil Ed!  This film is, I think, Swedish.  I remember it because it the acting was terrible but it was very funny in a dark and twisted way.  The gore was so over the top but the effects were really good, Ed v's a shotgun at the end springs to mind.  The basic story was a guy, Ed, works in editing and has to chop out all the gore from films.  Unfortunately it sends him loopy and he goes on a rampage, killing people for fun.  Really bad....but somehow good.

HOWARD THE DUCK - So much nostalgia and childhood memories I get when I watch this movie. I loved this movie as a kid. I remember watching it as many as 4 times in one day.

THE LAST STARFIGHTER - I love the 80s chessieness and Catherine Mary Stewart (from night of the comet).
