The last three Harry Potter films.  That's actually fantasy not horror but it's the best example of young adult I can think of.

an october owc with a horror genre...who could have seen that coming

It's been a long time since the Oct OWC has been Horror. And there was a huge cluster-fuck of insanity about it last year when the genre announced was "Comedy". So Horror is the best way to go.

I know what you mean, Phil. I'm having a hard time condensing my idea into 12 pages. The way I'm going right now, my script would be 15 pages long at the very least.

Same issue. But we have time. I went one page over last challenge, and even though people liked it, the sh!t hit the fan. lol

I almost thought of not entering as I was perplexed as to what to do.

But now I've finally thought of my idea and it is a great idea.  Oh boy I'm excited.  Now I have to deliver.

The writing starts tomorrow.

I came up with a couple of ideas (not to say I'll be entering) - both of them are really good ideas but they seem like they will take longer than 13 pages to tell. We'll just have to see how it goes.

I didn't know about this until now. And I'm excited. Once I come up with an actual idea I will be even more excited!

I came up with an idea then reread the theme and topic to make sure it fit. I started thinking of the show Goosebumps that used to come on Fox. Then I remembered Are You Afraid of the Dark? that came on Nickelodeon. I used to love those shows but I don't want to water down my story so i'm going to be aiming at the 17yo audience (who are allowed to see R-rated movies btw hahahahahahahahahahaahha)
