I'd have to say mine is No Country For Old Men

Isle 10- A series I'm currently writing with my friend Adam and it will go into production soon. Think The Office meets 10 Items or Less.

It's impossible for me to narrow it down to one movie but if me life was on the line and I was to choose just one movie to watch for the rest of my life, I would probably go for...The Big Lebowski.

Fargo.

Only joking. It's a Wonderful Life is my favorite of all time.

Though Fargo and No Country are both in my top ten. You know they are doing a new adaptation of True Grit next? Those crazy fools, now that might be a great movie.

Haha, I do try, honestly.

I had a rather strange introduction to movies, I spent much of my youth being raised by my Grandparents so all I ever got to see was their movies. I missed out on many of the movies that the kids talked about in school but I grew up on the classics and still to this day love watching old films, especially anything with James Stewart.

Damn... You've stumped me. I really find it too hard to pick a favourite movie. For me, it's a tough flip up between City of God and In Bruges... And I think I'd have to say In Bruges.

Do I think it's the best movie ever made? I know there are better made films, but that is my favourite film. Serious, and very funny at the same time. It also has IMO one of the best scripts of all time...

Geez, it'd be a tie between Aliens and Jurassic Park for me. Yeah, not exactly the hugely dramatic kind but still classics in their own right.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button still leaves me in awe. A magnificent film I was lucky enough to see on the big screen.

'Vanilla Sky', 'cos it means so much to me on a personal level. When a film can just sum up an issue in your life, then you will forever cherish it.

I know it can be quite hated, though!

Real marmite movie.

I wouldn't say "fun". It might be one of the most poetical movie I ever seen. Along with Wim Wender's "Wings of Desire"

Rather than just name a movie, I think people should include why they like this particular movie.

As a writer, I liked this movie because the characters were so well developed.  There were no fancy special effects in the movie and the closest thing to an action sequence is the cast playing a minute or two of ytouch football.  The movie relied on acting and a strong script.

The Silence of the Lambs.

Perfect script, perfect acting, perfect everything. It was great on all levels. Also an amazing adaptation of the book. Almost follows the book to a tee and it still comes out perfect.

..and then of course Jody Foster was in it...

Little Miss Sunshine

Amazing script, I use it often for reference on how to write. All characters are given time for development and each helps to define the others. Good pacing, the story just flows and makes you want to keep going. Great dialogue, snappy and quotable.

And one of the greatest endings to a "family" movie ever.

Seconded, though the script wasn't as strong for me.
