We had her at 1:37 a.m -- 7lbs and she was 20 inches. It was one of the most intense moments one can go through. I mean, I wasn't doing anything but standing there, holding her hand and talking her through it but I'll damned if it didn't drain me...
Angie took it so good. No meds, nothing... Got her out in 7 min flat. I cut the chord and watched the whole thing go down. I'm so excited right now and just wanted to let my little extended family here in on everything. Even tho a great number of you loath the very mention of my name. "ha" Nothing can take me down right now.
Her name is Amnesty Ann Marie Schuller & it's the greatest moment of my life!

Congrats, Baltis!
I have no idea why anyone would ever want to have a child, but I'm just weird that way.

I had two sons so they could avenge my death. But I'm off topic. The topic is birth. |

Wow, great stuff, Balt!
For some reason, I thought you were already a dad? Anyway, welcome to a whole new world, buddy.
I, too, love that name.
Is Schuller German? I'll have to check it out. Cheers buddy |

Congrats, Balt. Wonderful news.
And looking ahead 15 years or so -- my sympathies to the first boy who shows up on your doorstep for a date with young Amnesty.
Imagine that kid standing there when a frowning Baltis opens the door! Wouldn't want to be in his shoes haha! |

Hey Congratulations Balt! Wonderful news. Beautiful name too. Suppose we'll have to wait another year for Frostbite now. Never mind I watched it on TV the other night - “Frostbite” is a thrill ride with bites, and tons of blood. Get chilled! A sleepy town in the northernmost regions of Sweden finds itself host to an unlikely outbreak of the undead... " You sure got that one made damn fast. Hehe. Back to the main topic. All the best to the three of you. |

Thanks for the out poor, guys. It's been a crazy night. Still haven't slept... They are as we speak, I'm just sittin' here twiddling my thumbs wanting to wake her up. "ha" Crazy, crazy stuff. I envy the new parents to be in this thread, cos seeing your child born was something you just want to rellive again and again. As for "Frost Bite" ha... no, mine has nothing to do with Zombies. A little more original than that one, c'mon now... And as soon as I get back from the Hospital I will let you know the status of my next upload. Probably Manor Morgue Motel or the Gruff re-write/remake. We'll see. It's going to be worth your time, that much I can tell you and you won't have read another script like it. One thing Balt's always good at is delivering... Baby's now too "ha" Thanks for all the good will everyone and I will be A-round soon. P.S. I had a name change years back, Schuller isn't my real name... I'm actually Jewish and Schuller was the maiden name of my grandmother on the Schauberg side of my family. I chose to change it years back. Just a heads up. |

I'M SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amnesty is a beautiful name!!!!! I know that when I had my children, I didn't want any drugs either. What is it with us women? We want to go through the pain and be completely awake and experience it. It's the most beautiful thing in the whole wide world to give birth, and to have your husband with you is above anything I know!!!!!! Oh wow!!!!! This is just amazing!!!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!!! Top stuff Batlis. Children are cool. (don't have any myself but I do have five nephews.)
I'm not sure if this means you will be doing less writing now because you will be busy being . . . well . . . a father.

Again, thanks to all of ya... I haven't had but 3 hours of sleep total since she's been here but it's worth it. I just can't wait to get her home!!! Lot's of crazy times ahead, that's for sure and sleep and alone time is probably going to be a thing of the past, but I'll have to adapt to those changes, I suppose. I'm lucky to have someone like Angie to walk through it all with me. That I do know. Anywell, I better jet -- It's a little over 6 here and I've got a ton of things to prepare for in order to bring her home!! Lock the cat up, take all my guitar and amp euipment to the back room ... Along with my dignity "ha" As for my activity in writing... I write when there's a good story to tell. Rather when I feel like there's a good story to tell... In my time as a screenwriter I've written over 120 different works. Shorts & feature lengths alike... I would be lying if I said the ideas come at break neck speeds nowadays, but they don't. And I'd also be lying if I said my band didn't come first and foremost to me the last year and a half -- But when I sit back and review recent screenplays that I've written "Frost Bite" "Dog Pound" and "Fast as You Can" -- I realize there's still ink in my ribbons. Be well everyone and I'll be posting up a new screenplay before Halloween... |
