I think Room 107 had the best sex scene... or maybe that was just me fantasizing.

I had a sex scene between a mime and a ventriloquist puppet in mine. I did not post it for a reason, but will soon. And I hope to get some feedback on it since I took part with reading.

I thought you said you voted, Pia.

You didn't submit?

I guess "Writers' Choice" still applies considering you are both writers. =D

Only wrote one Ray and I did not submit it. When I do though, I want to see you do a breakdown of it!! It would also be fun to see your budget for it compared to mine.

Yeah!
I'm very much interested in seeing a side-to-side estimate comparison.
That'd be so cooool!
Oh, and inforrrrmative, too.

Would you care to break down a few of your favorite submissions to this Oct OWC, as well?

You've inspired me to go on my next research quest: US/Canadian Film Festival short films; past entries and the discernible factors that go into them.

It also reminds me that I need to do a respectable amount of homework about SAG rates and regs.

While we're discussing budgets, Ray, I'd like to see you put together a budget for me, including 3 nights out per week, and 1 of those being at my local strip club establishment, coming in under $200.

You must understand that the libations alone are over $50/night, and I'd like to have a nice meal in there as well, at least once per week.  I am open to killing someone each week, if I have to.

Given:

Quoted Text
- 3 nights out per week
- 1 of those being at my local strip club establishment
- libations alone are over $50/night
- a nice meal in there as well, at least once per week
- under $200.

I am open to killing someone each week, if I have to.

$200
- $150 ($50 x 3)
= $50
- $20 Good meal, for one
= $30 for strip club. Go crazy, Jeff.

Killing someone can be performed at no cost with found objects.
Cars work good.
Firearms, if you got 'em, are also popular.
Knives and blunt objects work good.
Poisoning if you're feeling girly - and patient.

Good luck!

Actually, Ray, you've helped out already, because if I were to go to The Titty Twister, I bet my libations come in well under $50/night.

I also own a car and could use a kitchen knife.

I think I'm there...now I just have to move down to Mexico and be within 30 miles or so of that establishment...but I'd need to bring garlic, crucifixes, and stakes, to take care of the local vamps.
