Okay, I believe I'm done. I skipped over a couple that had just atrocious reviews. Especially the one where the author chimed in and admitted to being French Canadian--not because he may need help on his script, but because he only had one post and that was it.

Gonna be a tough vote, usually one or two of these stand out above the rest, but I think all of the decent entries suffer from that super natural backstory exposition, or they just skipped over it which is a no vote for me.

If I missed anyone, PM me.

Cheers,

James

Are we voting private or swaying votes with divulgences?  (I think it's cool every time I use a word that spellcheckers red lines.   )

I got an email from Don to let him know my favorite and he will compile a list. So, private I guess.

Wonder when the deadline for votes is. Hard to pick one favorite. Wish we got 3 choices.

I'll make it easy for you, Felipe, just choose Cowboy Sam and be done with it.

I'm leaning that way.

Also, I've read most if not all of these but skipped on making redundant comments. I still have more comments to add, but please let me know if I've missed yours.

Well, the jig is almost up, folks.  It's time to gather the roses so we can throw them at the feet of whoever wrote Cowboy Sam.  It's also time to dig deep and analyze which script made best use of mimes... "The Cycle" perhaps?  Or "Tool of Morality"?

It's been fun and I'm anxious to see who wrote my favorites!

So when's the actual deadline to turn in our votes?

"I remember a time of chaos. Ruined dreams. This wasted land. But most of all, I remember The Road Warrior. The man we called 'Max'."

THE PINBALL WARRIOR (scifi, WIP, ~30 pg.)
A STAND AGAINST EVIL (short, 9 pg.)

The deadline is immediately after reading my script.

Going to debate about it at work and send my choice to Don tonight.

It's between 3 of them for the best.  A lot of them were decent, and some not so much.  (On one (the last one I had to read that I was saving for last because I somehow knew with my magic ways of reading loglines,) I only read the first 3 paragraphs and that was enough.)

I'll go back and make comments on the ones I didn't respond to over the next few days.

Isn't there usually a separate voting thread... Or are we replying to Don's emails?

I think Stevie wrote Cowboy Sam, the more I think about it.

I also guess that Phil wrote Room 3 to throw us off.

My original guess was that Jeff wrote One of God's Special Children, but now I'm confident the actual writer has been mentioned very recently.

Stevie wrote a much better script than Cowboy Sam.
