Oh Jeez. I may already have a script in the works that is composed of these "guessed clues."

For the record, there have been a couple successful guesses thus far, dealing with certain aspects of the Tournament. I think, deep down, you guys are going to like this. =)

Ok, interesting

I knew I was away a while but I’ve not come across these tournaments before

Seems cool

But, damn ...is that 48 hours to write them. Man, some readers will be in for a load of bollocks from me with that limit.

Hell, could be worth a stab.

Let’s see what the twisted mod comes up with

Yep, it's punishing if the past is anything to go by.

I think it was 72 hours for the 2019 Tournament, and I for one would need that with my free time restrictions at the moment.

Bill, here's the link to 2019, 2018 is in the thread above.

Also, just thinking... X is also a Roman numeral. Was that mentioned already?  Just sayin'.

No, Kham. I'm completely in the dark on this one cause hopefully I'll enter.

This is Blondie's show.

Yes, hopefully you will. But I'm starting to think I'm too pretty for all this. Let's see.

Well, there's no doubting you're pretty, Kham.
Are you talking about your delicate sensibilities?

Deep Down, eh? Oh, oh… we’ve heard that before, something about the American Dream, but… not all is what it seems.

Folks, I'd like to sing a song about the American Dream. About me. About you.
The way our American hearts beat down in the bottom of our chests.
About the special feeling we get in the cockles of our hearts,
Maybe below the cockles, maybe in the sub-cockle area.
Maybe in the liver. Maybe in the kidneys. Maybe even in the colon,
We don't know.

~ Denis Leary ~

Curious, his drummer has a big ‘X’ on the bass drum. Another coincidence…? I think not.

It’s ALL about Denis Leary this time around, and the incessant need to load our scripts with huge full page dialog rants, like this Denis Leary rant from the Demolition Man:

“You got that right. You see, according to Cocteau's plan... I'm the enemy. Because I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, the freedom of choice. I'm the kind of guy who likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder - "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of BBQ ribs with the side order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol. I wanna eat bacon and butter and BUCKETS of cheese, okay? I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section. I wanna run through the streets naked with green Jell-O all over my body reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly might feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Mayer Wiener." You live up top, you live Cocteau's way: what he wants, when he wants, how he wants. Your other choice: come down here... and maybe starve to death.”

It's about green Jell-O, which is eerily similar to Soylent Green. A movie about a dystopian future of dying oceans and year-round humidity due to the greenhouse effect, resulting in suffering from pollution, poverty, overpopulation, euthanasia and depleted resources.

It’s also a Buddy/Buddy movie? I’m probably still way off…

Lol. Yes and how all that writing would be a dsitraction to my busy schedule of sitting on the sofa drinking teas and thinking important thoughts  .

You guys are very mean.  I feel so deflated.  I'll get over it, but it will require Jager and other such inebriants.

You'll really need it if you decide to enter. This won't be Fun & Games like past years. This'll be pure Dark Night of the Soul the whole way. =)
