Hey everyone,
after reading the Babz Buzz thread and some comments and opinions on FB, there seem to be some interest in doing Babz' much recommended table reads on Skype.
This is hopefully going to be a thread that will connect all of us who are interested in this. Whether you have a script you want to have "table read" or just want to participate by reading.
I think all of us will benefit from this so let's all sign up as readers and ask for reads on our own scripts!
Since Babz asked for a 10 page comedy and Mike Shelton voiced his interest on FB since he mainly writes comedy, perhaps one of his would be a good one to start with.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Let us know if you want to read or want your script to be read. I think this is invaluable to all of us. Let's use the technology available to help each other.

Pia, just to clarify...Babz is not looking for a ten page comedy. She's looking for the first ten pages of a feature comedy script. PS - I'll volunteer as a reader if needed.

Yes! The first ten of a feature. No shorts.
She insists on those ten pages having been table read, hence this thread.
This is a huge opportunity for all of us!

I don't have anything appropriate to be read, but I'm willing to lend a voice. ~Pete

If any of you write a script that features a British character, let me know...I'll be willing to help. Trouble is, for me it would be at about 2:00 in the morning!
Guess who's back? Back again?

I'd love to join in and supply a voice for anyone who needs the help in a table read. Lovit-lovit! Sandra

I'd definitely like to read. If we're gonna do a table read it seems like we might as well read more than ten pages -- the whole first act, anyway, if not the whole script. When and how would this take place (I have Skype but I've never done any sort of group chat thing, which I assume is how this works)?

I'm in, depending on date and time, of course. I've got a drunken slur of a voice.

Mike revised his script? Based on last Friday night's read? I had no idea...guess I'm out of the loop.
